Read the name of it.

Arc Welder is not a railgun.
It will spawn a large electrical bolt to fry your enemies.
Kinda like the guns from Star Trek Voyager, UT (linkgun) or Quake.

I Agree with NCF on the grenades. they are WAYYYY to slow. they fly in Slow-mo

They should take the grenades from Fear as an example. those are very well made.

I hope those concepts get redesigned a little bit.... they look pretty ridiculous to me.

A railgun is a weapon that fires a projectile at high velocity. (which the linkgun of UT doesn't at all. It fires plasma and soem sort of weird plasma beam)
I doubt you use railguns for welding.
A famous arc welder can be seen in the 2nd (I think) part of the movie Matrix.

I just hope and prey the weapons are well balanced and are unique. Who used the SubMachine gun when you had the Assault Rifle?

Very. Everything looks like someone on the field just threw those things together on the spot. Id rather use a weapon tha has been produced in a factory rather than one thats just been thrown together on the field. it feels un-professional and stupid to use prototype looking weapons like in the images supplied. If a gun is a prototype it should at least look nice. Not having components hanging out everywhere. Even so there shouldnt be so many.

What ever happened to all those good weapons that were supplied to mercs, guards, and other security personnel on mars? Oh, right, disappeared off along with the concept of RF being a FPS game.

I do have respect for the art style of the game. but the weapons look like trash... comeon.

Most likely they are trying to make people think that the weapons were thrown together ... what i don't like is that most of these look like you have to hold them off to the side

By looking at these images ... i think RF3 will suck

Maybe the plot will make up for the weird clutter

These weapons could be cool, if
the concept of it was to collect certain bits and pieces of different weapons to create unique combinations that all would work in a diffrent way.

I mean if you could create your very own combinated weapon.

The images look like there ws some kind of a platform/support each weapon is built on...
...hope the creaters of RF3 have some ideas like that...

...meanwhile the design i quite cartoonish - would fit games like Painkiller much better...

Which would have made more sense in the original game, but not 50 years after the revolution on a completely terraformed Mars. Even though all the other technology advanced, the guns went backwards? Somebody was on crack when they thought of this....
