sure, they could be photoshopped or it could be a scene made in 3D ... but they did a damn good job ... not to mention there are 9 pictures with the same theme  |

Yes, that emu is rather irritating. Whoever took that picture clearly didn't realise that those birds are capable of pecking your face off in one go.... and any other part of your body that you happen to be waving at it.

Oh yes, fake RF3 images. Well, anyone determined and clever enough to make fake images of high enough quality to pass as the genuine article is either a very sad attention seeking individual or ..... no wait.... that's all they can be LOL.
Kind of funny how its stirred everyone up though. |

same guy, same pose. proof #1.
You can fairly simply see the aspects of the Doom3 engine.
The lighting, the bump and spec maps.
Very simple to spot that.
The reflection in the window does not look right, and I doubt that RF3 is capable of doing that, no games do it, and it's not that easy to make since windows only become reflectable in front of dark areas.
Photoshoppers think they have to put reflections of a character on relfectable surfaces, otherwise they think the people would start wondering about the missing reflection, however this is a game screenshot, and usually a lot of natural effects are missing in game graphics. So, pretty stupid thinking.
The faked projector on the character doesn't seem to be cast on the level itself at all.
The wanna be Ultor decal looks misplaced and is meant to be a "proof"
lol so fake and timewaste by some CENSORED

Errr.. it was supposed to be a joke. Thats why I said "stumbled". I made it in about 10 mins in photoshop for fun.. I didn't actually think people would consider it to be real.  |

I just noticed this picture in the magazine layout but can't find a blown up version so I cropped it out to speculate some more.
