Quoting grandpretre | Shotgun?:it seems to be something like a plasma gun or something like that.... | Could be, I just thought that was the muzzle flash because there's some shrapnel flying, but it could be the wall breaking.
Quoting grandpretre | hope this isn't MP: Why?i would love to crush people with that vehicle | Vehicles like that remind me of games like UT3, which I don't enjoy, so if that vehicle is in MP then I probably won't like the online play which would SUCK. |

Yeah I'm sure you'll be able to tunnel since it's an open-concept type of game; I the geo will probably be better applied this time 'round. You'll probably be able to tunnel around and into places when you feel like it. Plus I'm really looking forward to bringing down buildings. |

Just remember that the game takes place on Mars.... Earth physics don't necessarily apply. Why would they put geo in the game if you can't tunnel? If they didn't, it'd be just like every other game where you can only shoot holes in walls when you absolutely need them. If that were the case, they wouldn't need geo-mod at all; They could cut it out altogether, which would probably lower the system requirements too. |

Oh good, I'm glad they weren't the ones that were already posted. These got me really excited for a demo....
Yes, they have mentioned geo is included. |

It seems that the Geo Technology will be finnally a standard feature in a near future. New update of Unreal Technology do this kind of real-time modification, they dosent talk about if the weight can collapse structure, but if not, is only a matter of time... For people that dont know already, Unreal Engine is the most used in the video game industry.

Very nice find margoth. I look forward to the next unreal game which uses this destructive features. Its about time that they started working on this. Too bad UED3 is a bulky pile of junk. |

I could never figure out why nobody else tried something similar to geo-mod. Still today, it's a great addition to online play. I wonder how many of us would still be playing RF to this day if it didn't have geo-mod.... |

Well, I hope not as well, but it'll probably be a while yet till we hear anything about a demo. I'm just really anxious to play it a bit...... they've got me foaming at the mouth not to buy it, but to test it. |

well, we wouldn't want you to break a nail play testing if there are big maps for over 12 players. or w/e you said. |

Not over 12 players you doucher, hahaha. I was talking about games that are all about 30+ player maps. If it's like that, yeah I'm not going to play it. Art of War is already too big unless the server's full. However, none of this changes the fact that I just want to play it already so these kinds of questions can be answered cuz we can sit here and speculate til the cows come home but it's not going to do us any good. |

For my side, with the bad linearity of the A.I., probably dosen't pass the 3rd level and after saw the frenetic unbalanced multiplayer, in no time, uninstall the game without think to retest later... Without Geo Technology, I doesn't even think to only search if they had a editor...

So you are saying RF is a very bad game but geomod saves it from being that bad. |
