I've noticed that your MarsWars Trailer video is in the list for files waiting to be hosted on the site. If you like, I may be able to create a new section for it, entitled 'MarsWars Files'.
I'd have to ask Garner though.
EDIT: I just stickied the thread. It does seem worthy. |

We may need a "maps for mods" section or something soon so maps for mars wars and other mods can be found in its own section.
Today I'm gonna post some screenshots of mars wars again.
I have been working on a new menu look, didnt take that long but looks much better than just an image. I got that idea from other mods but I thought it was much too hard to do it for mars wars. (I'm still just a programming newbie..)
I've done heavy changes for the vehicles and on the maps (especially VCTF-Canyon)
Thanks again for the sounds Assaultman68, I will need some more..I forgot to save the txt file but will give you the list in a few days.
(I hope you'll be not too busy  ..its just a few sounds again)
Work keeps coming..but it shouldnt take that long anymore.

did you think about renaming the canyon ... or are you going to leave it as is  ... |

hey guys, just wanted to stop in and say what a great job REDFROG has been doing while im gonbe, im truely amazed
We got a hotel in Philidelphia last night and wer heading to Washington DC in 2 hours.
We stayed at a motel 6 and im out in the parking lot stealing the holiday inns internet Motel 6 only has dial up...
i should be home and ready to work on MarsWars next week this time.

lol no I really wanted to thank you. I'm sorry that I mistyped your name (I cant remember numbers)
The new sounds do a good job. (I like it when I hit "Quit" and (Ithink Parker) says "No wait, my mistake!."
When you hit the Instant Action buttom it says "Have some practice here by shooting the targets"  (its a really small thing..but I like those small things When you now accelerate with the Jeep additional dark smoke comes out of the exthaust.)
I like VCTF much more than the normal CTF.
I'm having a lot of fun with the Canyon map, and I would like to see more VCTF maps for the mod but I guess we won't be able to finish many more the next weeks.
Yeah, Assaultman67 , "Canyon" needs a different name, I just couldnt think of one because english is not my native language 
Maybe: Red Canyon? Doomed Canyon? Red Doomed Canyon?

I think you've been watching this thread since the first few pages.
I wished the mod had more fans but I fear it's too much looking like a rip-off mod.(I had to create a lot of things from scratch, though..except the textures) I don't care as long as I'm having fun...and it was my dream to create this. You know I dont have internet at home for a long time...Red Faction has no bots but now its like it does have them and I can finally play it again. UT2004 is much more advanced... |

i dunno ... it may not appeal to the RF crowd ... but it might appeal to the UT2004 crowd ... they may have never heard of "Red Faction"  |

Red Frog, can you send me your static Meshes for the bases and such? I want to try to make a map, but i just suck right now. I have tried numerous times. Also, how do I import Textures into UED?
I really am looking forward to this. |

has there been another beta released?
well, washington is scraptd because of all the flooding and storms, so we wanted to go to manhatten, but now the storms are there, so i dont know what we are going to do, either way, id say ill be home by probably saturday-monday |

hey goob, you guys should go to flordia ... I went down there on a senior trip and stirred up all sorts of crap, we wen't cruising in the van down the strip cranking the radio to country music  ... some of my freinds were walking around in shorts, long socks and work boots. confusing the hell out of people and we even hit on some strippers.

when we went through NY, we *accidentally* ended up under one of the bridge in the... ehem... not good part of town...
we should be crossing the boarder into canada tomorow night and i should be home on sunday or monday. |

I like VCTF all over the other mods available for UT2004. I do enjoy mutant mod second. It's always fun to gang up on the mutants or knowing that other players can't hurt you when you are a bottom feeder.
BTW RED-FROG, the screen shots of the new VCTF level look great. |
