Ok just let me re download yahoo messenger. I had it on my other comp but never used it so I didn't bother to install it on this one.

So the new betaversion is not perfect, again
I have removed the HUD for the momemt, just because I can't work like that..and the HUD can/will be done later.

The portrais are still not showing the proper characters, weapon icons have to be added, ammo pickups (meshes) have to be changed,
death messages are wrong.
Nothing was done on VCTF, no changes were made on the Vehicles (yet).
RFDM-01 will have to be changed online. It uses many of the destroyable objects and it's not sure how much lag they cause. (they shouldnt cause lag at all because the script has changed. But it could happen when a player joins a game with many players (not bots) in)
The lobby map needs some fixing on the walls. Theres also a huge problem with the fusion... Shoot it down to the lobby and you'll see why.
To reach the roof go through a non-visible teleporter in front of the the SubMG (at one end of the lobby)

If you find errors of any kind (typos in messages, wrong speeds.. just anythin), don't hesitate and report em, here, or in the marswars forum (I recommend to do it there, because this one shouldnt be spammed to much)

BTW REDFROG, i got distracted on those damn VP's ... Garry's mod for half-life 2 is just sooo appealing ... I did get the tech done though .

Hey REDFROG, are you having problems with the portraits? or do you just keep forgeting about them ? because i can fix them . i know how to do that ...

I have resent it. Perhaps I hit the "back" button too early.

I know how to make those portraits. I wouldnt have done Parker if I didnt know it.
I plan to make them soon, but I'm bad at working with photoshop.
I'll render them in 3dsmax..a background can be added in photoshop or something.

edit. oooh I see, its not Assaultman in the CDC, its Assman
My mistake. Goober didnt you say Assman was out? Why? And where's his Mazeway map?

ummm, assman is out of the team, but he is still a tester, and like i said, i cant find his map, i dont know if he still has it..

Also, on marswars site, can you write a tutorial on how to use Geo?

i know how to use photoshop ... but i don't have a copy of it ... I figured you just forgot to add the right portrait line to each character ... it didn't occur to me that you might not have the portraits done .

Lol yeah I would also like to know how many we have. It is easier for me if all of them were listed in the CDC because its easier to send PMs that way.
I have the power over the CDC? Where? I have never ever done anythin with the CDC on l4y

Gooba, I could send you the rendered images, and you put some cool background on them, and other effects (dunno what's possible)
The images will have an alpha channel so it is easier for you.

The background could be just some colors (as in UT2004) or ... I'll leave the brainstorming to you.

alright will write a tut about "geomod".
