Riot Guard..nothing special, just wanted to show him.

me, doing a wheele with the Jeep The vehicles of UT2004 are driving very static, its like driving a skateboard. My jeep is very jumpy, I mean the damping factor is higher. The mass of the car pushes the front down when you brake. You will feel the power of the V32 engine The wheele is a "bug". When I drive backwards, and suddenly want to drive forwards the mass goes back and the car almost flips over. (it cant..) This happens because of the small size of the car.
this often saved my life when a missile came too close LOL

oh wait..there are two..
The thermal detector changes the color when a player is not hidden by a wall. This is useful because you cant shoot throught the wall (only for now, I hope)
Somehow I like the way how this railgun works. The gameplay is slower than UT2004s, and it may be too easy to kill guys behind the walls because its much easier to aim at things in UT. (or I'm just a good railer...yup I am ) Even when the railgun cant shoot throught them, its a big advantage to see where the players are moving. I then just wait until the enemy lost the cover and kill him with no problem. Maybe its because I played with bots, but they aint moving slower. I play on Inhuman.. |

I must tweak the weightning on the legs so they bend correctly. I didn't take the time for fine tweaking yet. I play too much because its so much fun.. I'll upload a beta, perhaps this weekend. Get ready for the worst mod ever I do my best and you're complaining about the leg jk |

No need to rush Assaultman
I changed my opinion/plans today.
Just got the model of the "Aesir" (the Fighter) done. (not fully done but its ingame). I should have fixed some things before I let ppl play the beta but I was busy with the fighter
Oh well, perhaps I may upload the beta on sunday..
Goober its strange that you left the mod just a few days ago, but when you hear that I'm gonna upload a beta you come back. 


Yes...the Aesir has no blades. But this one has them
I thought its a pretty nice effect to have 2 rotors for the Aesir. I don't like static things...and its not unrealistic.
btw. the look of this vehicle is not final. Just like everything else you see on my screenshots. Well I should not post them too early then. |

Yup. They're animated too
I love this special design, and how the rotors work. It really exists for real helicopters. Its called intermeshing rotor 
btw I need a good sound for this I cant remember where to find good sounds in the internet.

I really like every thing I've seen so far. Right now though I really do not like the fighter having blades.
I understand you don’t want the fighter to be a static mesh but perhaps you could animate other parts of it.
The fighter has a chain gun on the front that spins. It also launches missiles. I would say take the large blades off and make smaller duct fan system for hovering flight.
Things that could be animated for the fighter:
Chain gun on front
Missile bay doors
Tinny duct fan props and or duct fan doors that open and close when a player gets into or out of the fighter.
I really feel that making the fighter into a helicopter massacres the whole concept. |
