Thanks ModMaker91 But what you cannot tell from the static screenies is the the fact that the wind is howling througth the windows and lighting is flashing outside that actually lights the internal rooms followed by the roar of thunder. and where you see the broken glass those steal shutters open and close to protect the rooms etc.............and when you enter the Tardis it s alot bigger on the inside than on the outside......................OK the last bit may not be true ...but then again it may be

Also, that thing about AI and Waypoints doesn't help me. I don't want somebody to be driving around in a jeep, I want the guards I have placed to actually move. You know, where they aren't standing still...?


Let me remind you of my problem (has nothing to do with a jeep).

When I play the level, encounter the first guard, I place a remote charge on his back. Instead of running around screaming like he should, he stands there in the "waiting" position. That is where he is just standing there...

If I were to run out in front of him, he does start to shoot at me, but, again, he is standing still. How do I make him run around? And I checked out the tutorial, and it says to check a box near the bottom to make a Navpoint into a Waypoint....

Ok, so on the bottom...of what??????
I checked the bottom of everything, and there was no "Waypoint" checkbox in sight. If REDTECH had more understandable tutorials, I wouldn't have asked how to do anything.

Navpoints works with any entity (guards, jeep, monsters...)
Don't be silly and try.
As for the guard's behavior? Did you mess with the AI properties as i told you? (AI mode and so...)

I have been messing with the properties for quite some time now, with no result or a bad one. Just freakin tell me how to make him run around, if there is a way to do so without waypoints (and I know there is).

This is what ive been working on:



The space outside moves around the ships as if it were traveling ... and I made the hologram with paint and the idea of being able to do it i got from one of NCF's maps ... can't remember which one though. had a floating white smiley face . The whole ship itself wasn't supposed to look like hyperspace off of ut2k4 but it turned out that way .

It needs a lot more polishing though .

Edit: also i will be working on a skyscraper map that i got the idea by looking at JDanswer12 puzzle map ... it should be cool

First new map for me in nearly a year. Hope that you all will enjoy it. Many of the textures were are ones used for Capek (I extracted them from single-player levels). It's meant to have fast gameplay....threw in a teleport switch in Capek's mouth for laughs.

Capek is throwing a Rave Party to show the miners that he doesn't hold a grudge. This map is arena style with a central raised platform surrounded by four concentric rings (two of which move up and down). There is a teleport switch in the center of the map (trigger it and all players get teleported to the central platform). There are two types of jumppads in this map for quick movement horizontally and vertically). Gameplay is fast and suitable for 2 or more players.

TECHNICAL: Hapa Hanu has rigged it so that Mac users can enjoy this map without crashing concerns. The skybox is "Don't wanna live here 1" by {DVL} I.A.C.

My first real map. It's a Tron styled run map(well...not yet. Just it's spawning chamber). Some pics I made:

This appears as you float towards the ground trough the laser beam.
Unfortunately I exaggerated on the complexity of the brushes and the spawning chamber it's self has about 414 KB .
Beating the box: free online lessons on how to cheat a lie detector.

Well I know it's been a long while ever since I last posted any pics of any map that I was making or even released a map, but I am actually working on 4 different maps at the moment and I still have to do some more testing. Here is a pic:
