Very nice.... I hope they get the site up soon! It'll be nice to have an official Red Faction website again. 
I wonder.... seeing as they're willing to work on a new RF title, maybe they would consider a new official patch for us. It's doubtful though, but we can dream can't we?  |

Yeah well, there is no reason to patch unless they can fix currently worst problem of RF, cheaters.
I know pretty much how cheats work and how those could be blocked permanently...
On other hand there is so little on old RF game and engine to offer so that it can be that they are not bothered to work on patch. Also fate of Red Faction source code release is unknown but I would take a quite safe guess since RF1 was made using renderware there will not be source code available to public. |

Cant be bothered to look is this coming out on PC only or consoles too?
I've stopped playing pc games since I got a 360 |

It will be out for PS3, 360 and PC somewhere between April this year and March 2009. |

Yes, I don't care for Co-Op. Maybe that is a game type left alone for military style war games not a rebellion force of rookies like in Red Faction 1.  |

What would be kinda neat is if, when RFlll is released, later on in the year, they release an expansion pack. Having new weapons, new character models, a new gametype, (kind of like they did with UT2K4 and the MEGA BONUS PACK! Including VCTF and maps). THQ can do so much with this game, it's just a matter if they take the time. RFll was poorly developed, mainly because everyone was anticipating an awesome game like RFl, so they pumped it out as fast as possible in order to make an extra buck, now people have kind of lost faith in THQ in regards to RF, so now they have something to prove with RFlll. Let's cross our fingers and hopefully not have to shoot my own foot in keeping my hopes up. |

I must admit that is not look amazing and crisp as new Engine, but REDFROG have is planet Mars  If the new Geo Technology kick CENSORED , is acceptable, I dont care much about graphics, ...but it must! Some concept sketch have great Level Design potential and hydrolic mine machine is in my style.  If they choose to put multiplayer vehicles and maybe a kind of production building system, I hope they will have time and keep focus on destruction over anything else. Spray to much is the danger for them...
The people that do the promotion has not choose the best way to launch a kind of bomb new, like Bionic Commando, appear out of nowhere 20 years later, but with a series of clear in-game video features...

The graphics look amazing, for BETA screenies. The finished game is going to look much better, it's only common sense. Plus it's artwork, not actual in-game screenies. |
