I expect games to be like Crysis for the next year, DX9 / DX10 options. After that the number of DX9 games will slowly drop off. New version of Windows is (supposedly) out end next year anyway so I expect then that games companies will drop XP rather than support 3 versions of Windows. |

I only hope it's a great game with great multiplayer - just like RF1. But what I'd find really nice is more vehicules. And multiplayer vehicules. Mmmmhhh.... |

Well it says 2009 fiscal which is April 08 - March 09, but yes I wouldn't expect it much before 09 ... possibly Christmas period or even the thanksgiving holidays (*crosses fingers*)
Wouldn't be surprised if it's delayed a few times however. |

If it has a half decent editor then I guess an RF3 section will be added to L4Y..... bit of a no brainer I suppose, but it would be great to have something now that keeps us all updated without having to browse other sites. Is there any way to get a news feed directly from Volition I wonder? If we were really nice (suck up in other words) then maybe they'd be more supportive of this site..... Maybe even provide some copies of the game when it comes out so there could be a competition of some sort to win them. It all boils down to the player comunity establishing a stronger relationship with Volition. In the past that's what we've wanted when dealing with the various problems of RF1. It makes a huge difference when the connection is already established. |

There's one already in the works. It's just that we haven't put much effort into the meat of the section yet, seeing as how all we have to work with is the fact that it's being made. |

Ive thought about that as well... Cant hurt to try, we will be getting as muhc info as possible for this though when it comes available.  |

Well, the way other games have been going lately, a push back is more or less a common sense statement. For example, Super Smash Brothers Brawl has been pushed back 3-4 afaik. And since RFlll is already popular, I see it as being pushed back even more.  |

You bunch of DOUBTERS, I told you this months ago. I have a client that WORKS with THQ and Volition, He directly contacted one of the main people working on this project ,and KNOWING I AM a RF fan he let me in on it.
Maybe I'll ask him for an advance copy whenever it's ready....... |
