Hmmm, name doesnt sound familiar... 
The one of which I speak has the Grenade Launcher by a large Gate/Door into the arena (not accessible) and has a Sopot Statue in front of it... I THINK. |

We have our answer, is the reason why they put RF3 in third person, they want use Saints Row community to move on RF3. Is sad to see that they also copy the new style of GTA IV promotion video... Here a quicker low res version on GameSpot

I just read some of the reviews of the new RF and I hope to God that this wont be another RF2 kinda thing. Not sure how I feel about the 3rd person perspective and we havent heard anything about level editing or anything. Maybe they should have listened to us about what we wanted in RF3 instead of doing what they did with RF2. Lets hope that it shares some sililarities with the original game. |

AFAIK - there is no official promo trailer, yet. http://redfaction.com hasn't gone under any changes lately either.
I should also mention, there will be no first person ability to RF3. They are sticking with 3rd person perspective. |

That's disappointing. Perhaps they'll allow more in-depth modding to allow conversion to 1st-person, though. |

I certainly hope RF3 will allow custom user created content, otherwise I fear it's allure will quickly diminish. |
