They were released for the PS2, however 1 was not which was an island map.

Yep, got the island map, adiffernt version of blasted canyon(not finished) and a arena map (not finished) Ive fixed the Island map, and should be releasing it soon

Well, I dont know whether your aware or not but they have already been released, and if you release the same versions then the comaptibility wont be the same and will dilute the player pool more when it comes to those maps, so IMO just convert them to UTRF.

Looks good I have yet to try out the beta but I will tomorrow. I can't tonight. Going to a Arena Football Game. That's right I will only be going there for the cheerleaders, the food and I don't drink.

Well it turns out that Arena Football was delay until the next day. I guess when they did the schedule, they didn't plan on the Los Angeles Clippers making the play off. We went, paid 20 bucks to park only to be told that the game had been reschedule. In the bright side, we bought some nose bleed seats from a scalper and we saw a Basketball game and yes the clippers did win...barely.
Any way, I'll try the mod out tomorrow but based on the screen shots, I don't think I will be disappointed. There is a VCTF map in it and that's what I like. That and DM.

Also, the rail gun has a flag that says "pierces_all", but all that flag does is make the rail not ricochet on any material, and makes the projectile seem to fly forever, thats why the rail seems like it never stops. Also in checkmate the air in the main room, where the RL is, doesn't count as matter only solid brushes, walls, and characters count as matter, so your story is possible. Thats why you can snipe with the rail, as long as it doesn't hit any solid materials that will count towards the 100m limit, walls ect., then it will fly forever. I think Volition made it where when the projectile is outside the level, it counts for the 100m limit. That way they don't fly forever and max out the projectile limit.


That piercing power tbl is not necessarily measuring metres..

Not to mention the differences in the 2 engines..

well we figured 1 meter is about 64 u right? so if we put in the distance as 6400 it should be ok ... but really it should peirce as far as the scope can see the heat sigs, unless the distance on the heat sig is the same as the piercing distance ... i don't have a clue how REDFROG coded that ... quite impressive though.

so the question is is that # in some other units than meter?

couldn't we develop a easy test in RED?

make a 100m thick block and a target on the other side ... shoot through the block at the target and see if it hits or not.

Almost everything Volition made in RF is in meters, RED, velocity of weapons and characters, jump height, Fall Damage Height.
Also,

And since brushes are measured in meters then the piercing power must also be.
