It does look pretty good, Beat. The only thing that bothers me is the doorways; they all seem very similar, very 6-sided. Maybe mix up the shapes of the door frames a little bit if possible. |

Yeah I thought that after, I had done a little part of the first building part, so im not going to use them for anything else in that level. most of the levels are going to be implementing a strategy, thinking sort of method, there will be guards, and fighting but at first there arent any enemies... but when you find some there is going to be bucket loads of troops |

[Start of long post]
I was playing IACs Desk about a month and a half ago and I thought to myself. "I could make this map alot better." and since I had nothing else to do and was quite board, I decided to have a go at it. So I deleted pretty much everything in the map except for the main desk, most of the chair, and The pictures on the wall, and started re doing everything. This time though I scanned in pretty much every texture so there alot clearer and don't have a big bright spot on them from the camera flash. Theres also alot more things on the desk in this map and alot more detail because I used something I learned while doing RFU4 Grave Yard, to be able to go above and beyond the limits without RED crashing. So I didn't Really have to worry about RED's 'limits' So where RED started crashing on me in IACs Desk 1 I could just continue to add objects and detail in IACs Desk 2. Also I smothed the texture groups in this map and set texture detail to highest so everything looks smoother and shadows are sharper and clearer.
Anyway heres some pics:
   
   
   
And heres a little comparason between ID1 and ID2

current build stats for ID2 are: Had to add 6 faces to fix ps2 tiling.
Fixing any t-joints...
Fixed 217 t-joints.
Checking for holes...
Found 0 holes
Brushes: 355
Portals: 14
Rooms: 66
Faces: 15545/10500
Face Vertices: 67412/50400
Vertices: 18381/13650
Rays recast: 6/15368
Build Stats for ID1:
Had to add 22 faces to fix ps2 tiling.

Stuff I still have to do in ID2:
- Add computer
- Re do printer because my scanner and printer randomly stopped getting recognized a few weeks ago so I went and bought a cheap All In One pinter/scanner which is now in the spot of the old printer. 
- Texture some more things
- Adjust the jump pads
- Add more jump pads
- And lastly add items and respawn points.

Nice map IAC, I have tried to make a micro, but my lack of textures made it impossible for me. Well I might be able to try again, after I finish up on my other maps. |

How does one get in the room?

It would look very odd adding a door... It's only supposed to be my desk and not my hole room. I don't think i'd be able to do my whole room in RED because I would try to add too much detail. If I can get:
Faces: 15545/10500
Face Vertices: 67412/50400
Vertices: 18381/13650
on just doing my desk which is about 1/4 or 1/6 of my whole room, imagine what the numbers would be for my whole room... |

So what you are saying is no door?
What no comments on the rearranging of the screen shots. 
Your screen is blank (white [RED Editing] squares). You need to add a picture of...it's up to you. |

The 1st IACs Desk was a good map. To be honest it was way above what I expected of you.
The new version also looks like something I'll enjoy playing so here's a bit of advice.
Don't include a massive music file.
Just today I went from 56k to 2Mb dsl and I've still got no desire to listen to the stuff you upload. Just upload the map and bathe in the warm glow of a job well done and I'll listen to The Clash while missing people with the rail gun ok?
Mood music = ok
50 MB of random songs = a pain in the CENSORED
