Ok i decided to post here before going any futher to ask if its a good or bad idea before spending lots of time and getting no results whatsoever out of the community.

i was watching a episode of Battlestar Galactica the other night and i was thinking why not make a map based in space, that has a cool Battlestar galactica theme ... so i was wondering if this is a good idea or not. heres what i got so far (incase you're wondering)





the model isn't completely perfect ... and ive noticed differences bettween the ships on the internet so don't come back and say "that look nothing like a viper!" this is the pic i based it off of here

All i notice in that, is that the RF one is wayyyyyy darker than the CS one

Yea, I was going to say, why the CS version of Dust 2? I personally thought the CSS version was better! lol

But other than that, I watched the vid and saw the piccies, very nice m8. I will be downloading that for sure, as I love CS/CSS maps for RF/ISM

while we are talkin bout Counter strike in Red faction b4 i had the idea of doin the matrixs i was recreating Cs_Assualt (source version) for RF

I am in the process of a ctf-cs_assault map that is a remake of Valve's cs_assault release for CounterStrike Source.

However, if I could snag the textures for the building from you if you still have them! lol

I would need the main building tin texture, and the brick texture at bottom of building.

The map is mainly complete, including train station, warehouse, etc.

I just need to texture it pretty much. It was going to be for ISM, but since noone plays that anymore, I would think a RF version would be better. Only issues though, is that I have used maybe too much for the map, it crashes every time I try to add anything too detailed <_<

danm, i was hoping to be able 2 complete it & upload 2 here i just added more 2 it , But iam the helping type, i just ziped then up after reading ur post where do i send the Textures to? [their are about 46 files in in that inculdes all the outdoor buildings,signs,Buildings 4 skybox etc....

Kerpal that looks sweet, im sure you could make something out of that, the hall looks awesome. You are probably one of my favourtie mappers in RF.
