OMG! That is a huge list of mappers!

Monster, that trumpet looks AMAZING!!! If memory serves, you're making an "American Idol" map, correct? Any chance you could throw Simon in the map so we can blow the crap out of him?

Dankone, I am REALLY looking forward to trying out that map!!!!!!!

Dank, I'd test, but I took RF off my laptop cause it wasn't running so well. I'll be home later on around 6:30pm EST.

This is a big list of mappers. I hope everyone follows through and finishes a map.

Back to IAC and Blaze, please don't just "tweak" an existing almost finished level.

Even if they don't, it will still be a bigger pack than RFU3. Especially with all the people that want to make 2 maps. If some people drop out, it will give those people a chance to submit their second map anyways, so we're probably still going to have a huge amount of levels at the end.

I have a feeling this pack is going to get split into at least 3 seperate files, if not 4.

Well there will be at least 2 parts. The actual map VPPs and the Music VPPs. Since the theme is music everyone will have music of some kind. Since some don't like to download the music, I'm goign to make it two separate downloads. What I'll probably end up doing is splitting everything up in like 5 pieces. 5 maps in Pack 1 and its Music files will be Pack 1a. 5 maps in Pack 2, etc.

But, yes, it does appear that this RFU will be the most popular. Excellent way to keep the game alive.

I just wanted to say that I am delighted at the list of mappers we have working for this project. Not only is the list a huge one, but most of the mappers involved are well capable of producing some really top notch work! I can't wait

I don't watch that crappy show, I've just seen clips with that huge jerk Simon in them... what a [Censored]! I would punch him out if I was on that show.

So what is your map then?

I'm making a music room with all kind of instruments. Its going to be some sort of micro map. thus far I have a piano, guitar, trumpet, and an almost finished drum set. Don't how the room is going to look like yet, and what music i'm going to use.

here are some screens:

Is that a micro? I'm guessing it is. NICE WORK MOSTERTMAN!!! If it is a micro, it would be cool if each key was a mover that pushed down when you walked over it. Then you could have an invisible brush over the entire thing so it's not hard to walk over. And if the filesize wasn't too bad, each key could make the corrisponding note.

Uhhm a Piano has 88 keys! And don't alot of keyframes cause a lot of lag? I like the idea tho, but i don't think its do-able.

Okay so it's a micro eh? How about making the level a recording studio? You could have mics set up for the instruments, stools and other furniture, soundproofing on the walls and even a window for the control booth. I think that would be pretty awesome.
