 No RF has the same problems with all 8xxx series cards this could probably be solved very easily (without PureFaction) if nvidia would be willing to support old games.......

 Yep I got my 8800GT working with rf with no additional work from the other fixes . I estimate it would take a programmer at nvidia a maximum of 2 minutes to resolve the issue.

Most recent pure changes:
Removed several useless console commands
Added spectator mode
Console bug fixes

How about letting nVidia know what you did. Maybe...maybe they might implement it in there next software update.

How will all the people know where to get pure faction? I estimate there are more than 80% of Red Faction players not knowing and/or not caring about L4Y.
I think you impliment a automessage or something.. but this message has to be VERY clear, with an easy to remember link, nothing with hundrets of backslashes and dots.

 Depending on how Pure was made..... i might be able to ask Allender if it would be possible to put Pure on one of the update servers....

Forget about that the update servers is not even maintained by Volition.

And the only one still functioning is the Volitionwatch one

Frog - It's been stated before that if you join a pure server, youll be restricted from spawning and meet a message telling you where and how to download it.

But sure it might be possible to add a new server to the list if the version.nfo
and Sites.nfo files is hosted over att Volition

 I have missed alot of stuff here. I get its V1.5 of RF.

Few Questions...

What happened to V1.4

Is this 100% compatible with Mods and Levels?

Your saying people without V1.5 will be allowed to join the servers, but not spawn and displaying a message for them?

1 feature that may be possible to incorporate with this... can you allow additional folders for maps? etc... multi2, multi3. as there is a limit to the amount you can have installed.

hey dude, how'd you do this? My 8800GT is coming soon as well!
