If you would like to PM a link to that paticular program to users who are trustworthy, go ahead, but I just cannot allow a link to be here (even if it could help) that could potentially be used to cheat...

Don't be thinking like that.
There will always be people playing without Pure, and those will be having a hard life.
I'm very sceptical how long it will take for the players and servers to switch over to Pure Faction.
Servers like the horribly modded Cobra server will never get the chance to switch to Pure, mysteriously there are many players...which will also not do it.
You remember it didn't work in 1.30. Why? My guess is that people enjoy their little cheats too much 
But I know Pure works differently. And this will be a great reason in making the people want it. |

As digi said, The serverside component serves as a sort of "demo" of PF so that people will join a server with it, like what they see then go download PF and see more  |

Releasing 2 version wouldnt be a good idea imo. would bring alot of confusion. |

I don't think it would be a bad idea, it gives servers options. I'm sure some servers won't run a version that is required by clients due to the fact that it may isolate some players, and some servers will simply want the best protection. |
