Could someone help these guys out please? 
EDIT: Keep in mind Shadow - RED still works. You just won't be able to test your maps until you get the fix...  |

Thanks for clearing that up for me, Trotskie...I mean rawzz. But enquiring minds and people with 8XXX cards may want to know, since it was hyped as only going to be available bundled with PF. But I do appreciate your input on the subject. |

erm why not just upload the newest one.
Windows has something.....a data string that stores the "date of modified"
Or just upload the 20+ files and let us choose. |

Whilst I understand you being slightly put off by me answering instead of TrotSkie, understand that he has much better stuff to be doing. I'm on vacation at the moment, and I don't really have much else to do at some times in the day. I'm TrotSkies main beta tester. I also influenced some of the ideas incorporated into the patch. 
Further, let's just say that perhaps in a one to one conversation one could be informed of why it was only going to be bundled. It wasn't some "sinister" reason as I suspect everyone thinks. I don't know if he's going to release it as a seperate patch now, but frankly - I don't see the point to. Whilst I'm not sure (havn't talked to him about it), I believe peoples silly weapon skins/sound changes/huds will work in PF. You can also join 1.2 servers with the PF client - so I don't really see any reason for anyone to mind it being bundled - unless, of course...they're illegitimate |
It sounded so corporation when it seemed like it would only be out there bundled with PF. I'm glad that he offered to email the card fix to people if they PM'd him, but why not just upload it ASAP to L4Y so it can get out there for public use. I don't think it will keep people from DL'ing PF if it turns out to be as great as it seems it will be. |

What happen finally for the player care switch gamemode feature?  If not in beta 1, still considered for update?

Just to reitterate - REDFROG is right on this paticular subject. Pure will be a seperate exe. Well it is at this point anyway
EDIT: Having said that - More than just the edited rf.exe may and probably will be included and needed to run Pure. |

I wasn't talking about uploading the PF beta but just the Nvidia Fix that he offered to send to people. So, you're right, I don't fully understand the issues behind uploading it to L4Y when he's offering it to people via email. You really don't have to speak about it publically anymore though. I'm pretty sure TrotSkie sent the Pure Faction Beta version out - Not the stand alone patch as he has said on alot of occasions that that would never happen. |

I sent out the PF beta to those who requested it. The main reason i did was to get some more beta testers. |
