Hi everyone, this is BAW(***Bear and I am Co-leader in BAW. Yea we know MF and he is a koo individual  He asked me if I would look at a RFU4 map and have it tested with my clan members and thought should I, LMAO, it was a no brainer and I was honored to test the map. I am glad that no one was truly offended by this and actually none of us forwarded the map to anyone. I am looking forward to the release of the RFU4 maps 
I would like to let everyone know that anytime you have a map you would like tested that BAW would be honored and happy to test it out and provide feedback |

Hey I am trying to sleep here and I couldn't. My ears were ringing. Don't quote me on the files not belonging to the authors, read the fine print in the game that you bought. But any way, it would be a low down dirty shame if somebody else modified a RFU map but the author him/herself.  |

just highlighting , that quote has been used against other people, so why wouldnt it apply here, no matter how low and dirty. Oh btw the pool table map is very close to one already released by Goober. Not that I really give a toss, but thought i would point it out.

My map is almost ready for uploading. I tested it this morning with Leninator. (thanks man)
He seemed to like it even if the testing was brief! I need to add Weapons then its pretty much done. |

Seems there's a whole lotta talk here, but nobody's saying much. We don't need to debate who the maps belong to, we need to get testing. I will be available this afternoon, prolly after 2pm EST for anyone who wants to play a few games. At work I'm behind a firewall, so I can't host, but if A1 would be so gracious to start up his server again, I'm sure we won't ignore the time and effort he's put in and will actually play on the server.
I was testing on my own the other day and found at least 2 maps that crashed RF on me. Can't remember the maps at the moment, but when I get back to my office, I'll try running them again.
TO REVIEW:
FINAL SUBMISSION is SUNDAY NIGHT. Meaning MY Sunday night, over her in the States. That means you folks across the pond get a few extra hours into Monday. Because of time differences, I'm not holding a specific time schedule, but if I don't have your map by Monday morning, it won't be included.
Once your map is done, I need an IMS from you. Once I get that IMS, I will move your map from the Uploads section in the FTP to the FINAL folder (which doesn't exist yet). Once its there, its done. It will be downloadable, but you won't be able to change it. I will consider this your final version. If I recieve all maps on time, the pack will be released on TUESDAY, perhaps slightly earlier. I want to make sure I have enough time to split it up and make sure everything works.
So, if anyone wants to test with me, send me an IMS. I will be checking back in around 1:45. Also should be available on MSN after 1:45. If I'm on MSN, but I don't reply, then I'm not back yet. I expect to see at least 2 or 3 folks that can help me test, if not more. |

i could help test... i think i got the newest version of all the maps.. the last time i d/l'd maps was about 4 days ago so i have all the newest versions up to 4 days ago... i added u to msn mr wizard... so i'll be here for about another 15 min then i'll be gone for about 2h then when im back if u still want to test i'll be available to test... |

Your level isn't on the rfu server, only a tekst file is on there |

owkee a couple things:
Fate, your map is real fun! allthough i haven't played it with other people yet to see how the game play works. i only have a suggestion, the trigger for the electric chair is now set to reset after 30 seconds, maybe set it to one second. I like to kill myself
RFU pooltable: first thing as said before a pool table doesn't have 8 holes 
Second thing: what does this map has to do with music?!
Planetary: If seen there has been some work done on this one. no more problems with disapearing texures. and I ain't able to blow holes in the outer skybox anymore  Good work on fixing these problems. one suggestion maybe you want to make a little trigger attached to an instant death to the bottom of the pin, in the top of the piramide, so you kinda get the feeling that your pinning yourself down. or must i say up
HALO:
nice little map but The theme isn't levels from other games.
And i believe saying that the music comes from halo and there for making a halo level fits the theme, Doesn't Make any sence.
don't get me wrong its a nice level. but it just doesn't fit the theme. |
