Did I miss the new MarsWars site? I have been watching this thread carefully in my spare moments of time, and saw nothing about the new site. only just re-registered. 
guess that means I dont have the latest test version.  |

yeah, it was a joke ... it was about when we were first beginning to work on this mod ...
WTH, is RedFrog? i wanna know if he got my Voicepacks and if he put them in  ...
Is that the loading screen between levels or the start up of the mod loading screen? Because i dont think we need to change the level loading screen ... |

I got cable broadband in the new place and almost have both PCs set up so I should be able to set up a server by this weekend. I still have some stuff to bring from the new place so I won't be home/online much tomorrow and that is why I said this weekend. 
I was suppose to have it installed last Saturday but they rescheduled me without calling me first. 
Also I no longer have Comcast Cable, it's time Warner now. Talk about not having many choices for cable television any more, they took over Comcast and Adelphia Cable. 
I just need to make sure that I have the same version as you hosers have. I might also mentioned that back when I had cable hosers like you got a better ping.
I just remembered that I haven't cancel my DSL at my old place. 
Oh yeah the dog gets to spend the night here tomorrow as well. After a flea dip of course. |

It looks good but Parkers Face is all screwed up. I would say keep the layout style but redo the Parker part. |

Assaultman, the screen is the loading screen for the acual mod
Whats wrong with Parkers face? Its the shading, plus he is far away from the scene.. |

I have to agree with E_Darkness on the parker face comment, His face does look wierd, eventho you say its because of the shading, that doesn't make it look better.
Other thing is the I can see the bottom of parkers foot, and that looks stange in comparison to the background, he seems to be tilled backwards a bit. |

okay, ill try to cut parker out again.
or mabye have to take another picture of him holding a fusion.
we may jhave to delay the mod until sunday/monday or about 1 day after we get a beta test on franks server.... whenever that will be.

Goober can't you just go with some simple, clean looking logo? ...
sometimes those look better than flashing stuff from the game in a loading screen ...

Meh, I can make a grunge, abstract, or abstract vs. grunge loading screen once I get these portraits done. |

i guess i could make it easier on RedFrog and pack them for him ... that way he would only have to replace the old texture package with the edited texture package and it will fix the portraits ...
Edit: you can email them to me in .bmp or post them as .jpegs at the site in a private forum ... whatever is easier or has the higher quality ... |
