Yes it does work...I'm impressed...momentarily anyway. For when I experimentally removed a server (which was currently running) from my favorites list and then clicked 'Get Servers' the server which I removed is no longer present on my servers list. So explain to me this, why exactly is the server which I have played in a couple minutes ago before switching the tracker's IP gone, yet still running from what I'm seeing on the site that runs it? 
I'm thinking if this were the same RF Game Tracker, I would be able to see that server. |

I used the specified IP for my Mac RF and picked up several servers that were previously not visible.
BTW - I remember your name from the credits of Summoner.  |

I don't know - I don't know _exactly_ what is going on behind the scenes. I didn't write the tracker code, and honestly, I don't feel like trying to reproduce this specific condition.
Look at it this way. The trackers are up. You can believe it or not believe it. That is your choice. Honestly, all I've tried to do is to respond to the problem, which I have done. As DNS propogates, more and more people will get their servers back online and all will be right in the world. |

yea i noticed that too. only for this thread...
ill take your word for it that its working. Mabye if there wasn't so many morons who impersonated volition staff in the past i would be more positive. |

I am not getting all of the servers over here so there must still be problems.. I only get 9 servers when some people are getting 30+
Oh, Now there are 17 servers up for me.. It seems they are gradually coming online |

FYI -- the tracker doesn't do anything but keep track of games. If you don't see as many as someone else, it's because of network problems or dropped packets. The bottom line is if it's working, it's working. There really isn't an "inbetween" kind of thing where is works better for some and worse for others. You'll have to take my word for that.
If there are 30 servers actually running, and you are overseas, or are getting lots of dropped packets to some of those 30, they won't all show up in your list. |

Using the direct ip atm, everything is running smoothly. The DNS should be finished it's global "circle" so that it redirects for everyone(including me).
