Havent seen you for ages ... ever since SPAM thread went down anyway 
My opinion on THQ and the Gametracker.
THQ have given up on the game so every now and then they pull down the tracker but then they get flooded with e-mails saying "why is it down, put it back up" so they put it back up with the excuse "we were doing maintanence".
Let the flaming and disagreements begin. |

Whoops! I actually got an email from THQ! The first time in two years! The response was not what I was looking for however. I figured since THQ was answering e-mails; I figured I could slide one in under the door. THQ didn't even read my correspondence, see the following evidence...

Problem:
I like RF for the Mac.
Is there an easier way to use custom maps for Mac RF?
The only way I know of is to add .rfl and .tga to levelsm and maps4 .vpps.
The installer CDs for Mac RF do not create a user_maps\multi folders.

Please be aware a fair number of Mac users are also interested in playing custom maps.

I think they did. If you read between the lines, they did answer your questions. But the couple of weeks does suck.

i think everyone of us should email thq about the gametracker, cause they should see that the community is still alive and maybe they give us the tracker a little bit faster back.

DO NOT post about cheats here, i hate cheaters! i think everyone else does here too. theres very few servers cheaters can play in now without being banned so LAY OFF!  |

Don't post them. If you do, I'll be forced to actually call back my clan and beat you with pure skills. Now, I don't have time to do this, but I'm willing to sacrifice some time to stop blatent cheaters. So, do you want an angry Vidi on you? If so, let's hope your cheats stop bullets, flames and batons. Of course, if they do, no self-respecting rcon holder would let you near their server. If you're Austrailian, that would mean that almost all of Australia would be blocked from that server (if they use an IP-block block. Its funny yet sad that Austraila's entire IP range is within one IP block. My own town is part of a small city that holds one mega block (as in from the 65.xx.xx range, meaning that this might actually be the local backbone of my entire state (spiffy idea, except my state is huge, so there's probably 5 or so of the mini-backbones in this state alone))).
On a related note: I'll be accepting positions within my clan, because if he does go through with this, the small regiments I have might not be enough. Still, I might as well get my clan going anyway, since I'll never finish the website, which is what I had planned to do before I even started the clan (almost 6 months ago ). Yes, it is sad, but 5 people can't stop a crew of modders, although we'll try. |

i also sent a messege and got the samething
funny how all the storm disasters happen and then the tracker goes offline... however its great that they plan to have it running by next week. Not really much more to say. |
