I'm definately sure that I'm using RED lol. 
Oh, and soulless_dj, there is only one RED help file, but I'm not sure that it will give you all the details on how to make a sp map. If you really need to know how, then I would suggest asking people on this site or go to this website: red tech |

OK Frank, it is finished.... well, to the point of testing online and with that said, I need someone with broadband to host a game because my connection is still dialup and I can't seem to host games anyway.

I can host it for you...If you want. I just got home so I am replying to this thread and request a bit late. 
BTW don't get in the way of those Kangaroos, they can really damage your personal property. Trust me I know. Also don't try to sneak up on them, they have some very strong hind legs and they know how to use them.

Well I have the test server running for Kiliad. It's called Kiliad's Test server. Now it's up to him to let some of you test it out. I will leave the server up until 6AM my time. It's 9:45PM right now..My time.  |

The server went offline but you can ask Kiliad for a copy of the level. he is going to do a few touch ups and maybe he may allow us to beta test it again. |

Kinda reminds me of the castle in Twilight World in "Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess" just without the Dark feel to it

No more testing. I made the changes and submitted it.
It's a simple map really but with a few hidden barriers to make jumping around tricky. |

Sadly only staff members that have access to the Red Faction section are the only ones that can download the file/s that are waiting to be posted on the site. Their seems to be a bug when the web site server switched.  |

Well there's no great rush for it to be available for download. It can wait till there are others submitted.
In the mean time.... I got myself a new map idea... but I ain't tell'in nuffin yet.

Ok, now I got something to tell but its not what I was ranting about above.
Anyone every have ideas for maps that never got off the ground? Maybe stuff that wasn't enough for a whole map but would have been great to use somewhere? Well I had a lot of stuff like that. Ideas and RED groups I'd made just going to waste. So I thought, why not just make a map and throw all those things into it and see what it looked like. To cut a long story short, it looked like crap. So then I tweaked it a bit and found that crap doesn't really tweak all that well but I decided to keep going anyway.
Basically its a big sphere in the sky and all the spawn points are in it. Then theres a huge jump pad under it with turbulence turned on. You spawn inside the sphere (its a keyframe with no player collide) and when you fall out into the jump pad, you get hurled off in a semi-random direction.
You'll notice the square tube thingies (from another map "Never Say Never"). If you're fortunate you'll fly straight down one of those and get a stockpile of goodies. If you don't then there are other goodies outside including a nuke you can lob down the tube thingies quite effectively.
Lots of work to do still. Might need to testers soon though.
Also, because I couldn't think of a name for the map... other than dm-crap or dm-tweakedcrap, I called it dm-pointless because it probably is lol. |

I've started on the final brushwork for Skyscraper, here's a pic.
I'm also working on another map. I'm not finished texturing it, but the brushwork is done. Here's some pics of it.
Edit: For some reason this page is acting as if the Skyscraper pic isn't there, but it is. |
