wow that iPod is really good ...

hmm ... the cord would be hard to make ... you could have it hanging off the desk in a loop just high enough from the ground so people can climb the cord to the desk ...

but then again thats a long cord ... maybe to your chair ...

Thanks, ill probly have the Ipod + headfones finnished tonight or tomorow morning

my headphones are Sanyo SHPX500 with a custom Gold-plated plug to fit the Ipod

the cord is Longer than the hight of a desk The cord is 3 meter Long so it will do the job
The headphones are bigger than the Ipod, i go threw a set of headphones every month (i might just make stock ipod headphones for it thoe)
but if it does go to the ground ill twist it etc or it will just look weird

=Edit=
After i wrote all that i had dinner then i started the chord that goes from the Ipod tothe headphones, im not shure if i should make the Sanyo SHPX500 or the stock Ipod headphones thoe, tell me what you think

the cord seems a little jittery ... I would try bending verticies instead of moving them ...

Here is an overview of what the map looks like bird eye view, (to bad the detail isnt that flash birds eye)
Please note i got rid of skybox in this screenshot to make it easyier to see the map

Just a few more pics of my new Christmas map. This map is taking considerably longer than I planned because of fooling around with sounds, textures(%99 custom ), vbms and movers. It has been tiring because of my lack of knowledge on these subjects but overall I think it will turn out alright. I hope to be done within the week.

Each jump-pad represents a different one of some of my favorite Christmas movies. Old-school rudalph claymation, ftw!

Take a ride on a one horse open sleigh. The reason the texture on the tree is missing is because its a vbm.

Don't forget the custom skybox made especially for this map.

You're getting really good at RED ... I remember when you just started mapping, it seems like yesterday ... (parent thing if you don't get it ...)

edit: you might want to consider putting more clutter in the room though ... like pop cans, magazines, pillows, etc ...

"Gez Giant Props take ages using RED, i see how the pro's felt like making Micro maps (W.R.E.C.KS, {DVL} IAC and the rest of the folks that are good at making maps)"

Wow I've never been called a pro before. Makes me feel special

BTW That map seams to be comming along quite nicely. Are you smoothing your lighting groups and setting your lightmap resolution to highest so everything looks nice and smooth and has good shadow quality?

to smooth the lighting effects all you have to do is go into texture mode, select the faces you want to be smoothed, and then check the first box for smoothing groups.

it has some odd effects sometimes though ... like te one you just described ...
