First: Ferrit that maps look sgreat, and totally fits theme them music, as one of the best, in my opinion.
second: the maps are due 29th of may??? do they need to be finished then or is that when the test fase starts? |

Thanks for the votes of confidence people  And Diesel, you're the one who's using Hammer man!!  This is RFU not CSSU 
I'll try and get mine uploaded for testing sometime today  I really wanna make a Brachiasaurus but at the moment the map doesn't crash under full geo and I'd quite like to keep it that way  I can always try
Now to make some new pterodactyls after I was told yesterday that thye looked likie airplanes Need to make wings flap and circle the map  Grief!!!  |

OK, I have uploaded [gold]DM-RFU4-Gravel-Pit[/gold] to the FTP...
I made a new folder called Ferrit in the Uploads Directory, hope you'll find it in there 
Would be nice if we could organise a big test soon where as many of us as possible play through all the maps.. perhaps leave this til after the beta submission deadline
OK, there's still a bit to do on my map but the bulk of it is there The "Sucks To Be You" decals will obviously be changed when I get round to making the decal I want And also I need to add a few more wepaons and pick-ups around the place as well as some more clutter to make it look a little bit more detailed.
Lemme know what y'all think anyways, I am gonna try and download what's on there today and have a blast through them and give some feedback, I would appreciate the same!!! |

im gonna run a server later for all the working RFU maps. if you are all interested in joining in on the merriment, them PM me or hit me on MSN. due to some problems in the maps not every map will make the cut for the testing. so if you all dont have the latest versions of everyones maps, and you wanna play this evening, i suggest you start downloading now.
also...if you think your map is server ready, put it up there, and ill grab it and test it to see if itll be playable tonight. looking forward to a nice response from you guys. thisll be a good way to get the feedback you all want/need on your(my)map(s), so dont be a stranger.
also, i would like to know what the mappers involved think about sharing the working maps with those not involved just for this test? if you dont think its a good idea, just say so. doesnt matter either way to me. i just figured we might get a better turn out if we do invite friends that play. |

Remembered the first one of these that was done was fun towait and see the outcome.Nice to see it is still being maintained by a few diligent mappers.Hope it gets some play.Could not recollect when the first was so I looked it up: RFU, Date Added Thursday, January 15th 2004, Downloads 2256

I'd planned on adding a list of mappers to my map too. Is there a list of everyone participating anywhere? Or has anyone made a .tga we could all use? |

no thoughts or opinions yet.  still havnt decided on a time frame for a good fragging either. but with or without people, im gonna start the server in approx 1 hour from this post(not that ill be joining it just yet), so if ya wanna have yer map up. make sure you lemme know you sent it to the FTP. also note here, or in a PM if you sent an update since this post was made, so i can have all the current fixes running.
the server is now running 5 maps. mine-ferrits-anges'-itchs-redjustices. join and try em all out. i know i will.  |

Well I think mine is about ready for peeps to test, it's not quite done. There's some texturing still to be cleaned up, some objects and a little more detail to be added but the layouts there
Oh and the weapon placement isn't anything like final

ok grims in up now too. i had apparently not updated mine on the ftp, so make sure you get it from the uploads folder. as well as the updated version of--baboom, spacewaltz,3bandbarn,and the gravelpit.
have fun and give feedback to the other mappers |
