Couple of things Sobe, the masako model has a little trouble getting onto the lights near the microphone. Also the parker model hits his head on the ceiling when trying to jump into the back of the TV for the hmg.
Seems a little sparse to me, at the moment.

i dont really have a logo and i dont really have any good PS skills so i just use this if i need a logo

well, ive tried making a newer one for this also, and im not sure about the 2 i like the best. whattya think?
 or
i have tgas of them, and have already made a transparent version of the one without the pyramids. im just unsure.  ill keep working.

Question! I feel that the the theme is a little bit hard to grasp for myself. I see now that some people are doing album covers, but my map does not have that feel. I decided to turn the music on, and use the feeling of the song to create my map. Is that ok to have, or do I need to insert some more of the "theme" into the map?
BTW, it is a drilling site.

I've uploaded mine too, its a 128x512 tga, 256kb. This works best for the detail, allthough you can shrink it if needed.

OK , Ive been away for a week , Ive just tested all the maps on the ftp, all lookin good, cept a few dont IMO fit the Music theme ,also all the maps with sep .vpp for music also dont work for me ,Im not gonna pick on anyones map as Im only new to mapping.
I have uploaded my avatar to the ftp , resize it if you wish , I cant add any more to my map ,so I cant fit every ones avatar in my map...... sorry bout that!
any way here\'s mine.........

the album cover is only one way to go with it. monsterman is doing a music room, REDJUSTIcE is doing a space waltz, itch is doing a 3-band kegger , ferrit is doing his interpretation of the settings to a video, and grim is doin a disco. basically what im saying is that its pretty wide open. however i dont think that a map inspired by music will fit the bill. the map itself has to relate to music in someway.(not just have music in it) i think we\'ll have to have a bit more on this one tho as i am no jedi  in the meantime....keep your brain working on things. for some inspiration, write down a list of your top 3 choices of music to represent, and visit all their websites. watch any videos of them, and play all their songs while doin it. something has gotta come to ya.

i have made a small vbm that includes all mappers on the cdcs' names. HERE is a link to a download of a sample. the actual VBM will have a trnsparent back ground of course. (i hope  )
i cant get the transparency to work in the VBM  can anyone help? |
