Cheers! And, wow, what a great compilation...
It's all very slickly done, love the ultraviolet bt music. I'll have to open up the mod and take a look at your globalconfig and whatnot, I've been having problems getting my bt music to stop and start correctly. Although you should get your music to loop, its not good how after a litle while it reaches the end of the song and then silence.
Overall, a nice little pack. Good Work! Very... inspirational.
Oh, one more thing, you should fix the weapon bitmaps to be lighter so they match the other weapons. |

I just got the mod and I must say it is so cool. The Gunkata's are awesome *cough I know what mod they're from cough*  . Overall though this is an excellent mod. I shall be taking that BT music and using it for my movies. |

Hehehe.....i'm glad you all like it. By the way, I'm planning to create a video footage from it. Zildet has created a great gladiator MOD. And he inspired me of creating a level just like in Ultra Violet's trailer when she is surrounded by many soldiers. |

Oppo..... My friend. It is not for showing what I had made. It is to inspire the community to build their MODs. Beside, I didn't say I released it. I shared it with the whole community of Max Payne 2. I post it to the whole thread. The whole community had already begin to use and learn it.
Many Modders had been inspired by this MOD. And actually, that is the purpose of releasing it. I don't know where else you can actually find it. As far as I remember, you can also find it with Kazaa, limewire, and also torrents. Some people had already told me that they are going to share it in torrents. I think they already did. But I can't found it in my usual torrents' site.
Based on this mod, I'm sure you begin to have an inspiration about it, rite? One of the community has told me an idea of making Auto Aim for Gun Kata. Personally, I had been inspired to make something cooler.

The Bullet time sound is having problem. If anyone can help me to modify this, would you please tell us how we can fix the bullet time problem?
Anyway, you can take a look at CROUCH movement and the long range dodge right. I added a cool theatrical effects in it. Hopefully this community can be inspired by this. |

If the problem is that the bullet time song won't stop, you forgot to add in a second ->A_play3dsound( bullet_time_stop ); command in globalconfig.txt, this will overload the system and cause the music to stop.
You did it in the first vengence, how could you forget!?!
Anyways, you can also get the music to loop by setting the heartbeat interval variable to the same length as the song, this way the song is restarted immediately after it ends. As far as I can tell, it works pretty smoothly since the song's end matches up pretty well with its beginning. I don't even notice when it loops.
Also if you haven't already, I think you should make each of the gun katas make you invulnerable for their duration. This could help give the real 'cleric' feel to the katas.
I don't mean to sound so bossy, but I think these would be really good additions. I'm off to try these out.
Edit: Never mind that whole last bit about invulnerability, I see now that has already been done. |

Why do most of the people over the Internet have to play with words ? "I'm not releasing or showing what I've done, I'm sharing it with the community and on Kazaa, Bittorent...". "It wasn't stealing, I just peaked in and took something that I wasn't allowed to take...". CENSORED at least admit and say clearly what you are doing, that would save a lot of time.
About the stolen code (not animations) that you use as base of your "new" gun-kata system (sorry for bringing the HoM topic in your thread but well, I guess you'll understand as you went for 2 pages about your mod in the HoM thread) : do what you want with what you've "found", we have no pressure means, we are seriously getting bored of all these troubles "good, active and friendly members of the MP2 community" give us, we actually are just trying to release the damn thing. This is taking time because we actually are relaying it to other peoples/sites who have the means to host it, thanks for your useful power of denying anything we're saying after asking for it.
Now I'll probably get a "I wasn't the one asking, I haven't stole anything, I'm just sharing..." post right in my face, but I just wanted to say what had to be done, IMHO. I'm far from being a perfect smart guy and never clamed it, but I know when things are getting stupid. |

OK, so you didn't release it. You still stole code from a mod, so I think that you should apologise, and stop "sharing" your mod. Also, I wasn't inspired by the hack that you call a mod, and I doubt that anybody will be if all you do is hack. Are you going to do this with Violently Enhanced? Just stop it now, before you get banned. |

Let's keep some perspective. These are animations, text, sounds and models. Its not like he shot your mother.
What damage could vengence possibly cause?
Copyright exists to protect industries from losing money to pirates, it makes the industries more profitable and in turn encourages development. Copyright also helps to increase the overall quality of products. But as modders constantly remind us: they do this for free.
Do you know what a module library is? It is a selection of various pieces of code in various languages, that programmers can borrow and insert into their program, this saves time and in business, money.
Vengence is a foot in the door for beginners. The original creators will be credited. (something daud might want to get on top of, quicksharp, eh?)
If you feel your morals have been offended... cry me a river.
In the end, you have to consider what you have to gain from fighting this.

You hit the nail on the head, well said, some of these people get so uptight about their mods it's untrue, I'm playing Vengeance
because their aren't any other mods out and when Hall Of Mirrors comes out I doubt I will ever play Vengeance again, but it's fun and if you ban daudnatania (weird name btw) that's just WHACK! |
