seeing as daudnatania hasn't made a thread for his mod, and posting his mod in all of the other threads i decided to make a thread for him. Anyways, my comment on this mod is that it seems extremely hard to figure out all the different gun kata moves and stuff. Its too hard to keep track of and too many moves for it to be in any way useful. |

haha... Thank you Walter creating this thread. Actually, I intended to spread Vengeance MOD to all thread in order to unite the whole community in creating ideas for their own MOD. I've seen too long that people are spreading away on their each way. And the community seemed to be broken apart. This is my concern. Many of us create potential great MODs. I refer to kungfu MOD (Kenneth Young and Froz), Gladiator MOD (Zildet), Cinema 2.0, Hall of Mirrors, Free to Kill, etc. Do you know what this means? This means that each of us has potential to create even a greater MOD. So many people have been driven away from their original purpose of creating MODs.
It is a big hope for me that Max Payne 2's community is rise again. Not for the purpose of one man, one team or one MOD. But for the purpose of a community where we gather, do brainstorming, collect ideas, upgrading ideas, fixing bug, & other thing that can improve the quality of our own MOD. It is not the Vengeance that I want to show. It is not the Gun Katas that I want to advertise. It is simply the community and the extraordinary that they have.
Today it is not the birth of Vengeance thread. Today it is not the beginning of my MOD activities. Today is the day..... When a community of Max Payne 2 unite & reborn again .... Not as an individual team. Not as as an organization.... Today......We, Community of Max Payne 2, will remember this day as the day of the WORLD UNITE COMMUNITY OF MAX PAYNE 2. And we will spread our words across the country, across the nation, and across the sea. We will spread that this community will develop and upgrade our beloved game into THE MOST TOP NUMBER 1 in the whole world.

The L4Y community has pretty much contributed to get Max Payne 1 and Max Payne 2 back to the mod scene

That's true. Many new modders are around now and I'm one of them!!
Oh and would I get in trouble if I took the Punisher mod, put in the Colt from No Fear mod, put in stopmotion, took the micro uzis from Cinema 2, took the punching from retard fighter mod, took the backhook kick from Close to Truth, took the backflip from Kung Fu Samji Edition, took both of the Free To Kill levels and released it on L4Y? Because that's what I did and I think the mod's quite cool. You play as Vlad but he wears all black and I changed Vlad to Max. Would anyone be interested in this mod? |

JD....that's quite heavy modified MOD. And it is cool too  . Free to kill levels is actually quite fit with vengeance mod. it has a lot of people and cops. Maybe we can add more cops in it. I am thinking about using other gun like Colt or Micro Uzi to perform Gun Katas. Ultra violet uses micro uzis in performing Kata. By the way, where do you get retard fighter mod? |

Daudnatania, I tried downloading Vengence from Rapid Share but couldn't.
The free account carries a 30Mb/hour download limit. Vengence is 40-something Mb. It may be irrelevent, seeing as how it may just prevent people downloaing it in an hour, but I can see no other reason why I can't get it. Are L4Y not willing to upload it?
Just don't start telling us you are waiting for mirrors!   |

No no....hahahaha. Don't worry Calibur. Waiting mirror will never be the last excuse that you will hear from me. I don't have strange idealism like that. Anyway, I am fixing the MOD now. By the way, I don't put it in L4Y for some reasons. The man "you know who" is quite annoying about the origin of my modified mod. If I put it in L4Y, he will try to ban me and show off his close relationship with the server guy. Until now, I still disagree with it. MOD is for free and idea purpose. So, I share with the whole community. I have planned to change the animation into a combo Gun Katas rather than using direction to perform one by one kata.
I'm still learning about opening the KF2 animation. Hopefully you will hear me modify the animation soon.
For the moment, I think I will submit my current version to megaupload. Sorry for the delay on upgrading the mod. Something came up during the day and it needed my attention immediately.... |

You can't really edit the original animations, if that was the case my mod would have been out a long time ago!
Good luck with it but you'll probably have to make them from scratch |
