Quoting goober | This is based on Zelda?? I didn't know that |
You need to brush up on your gaming history. All that C&C3's messing with your mind. Didn't you notice all the Triforce everywhere? |

You could make a skybox that changes from day to night over time, just make a rotating one, with a sky/day texture on it. |

Quoting adam_morland1 | try do a moving one - set the keyframes to move after a ceartin time! WOW! im smart |
you cant move a skybox, just rotate it
Also, even if you could... it would be out of sync for most people.
As far as i know, only the destroyed part can even see the sky, or am i mistaken? |

Just thought I'd throw these screenies in here as I can't post in the CSS WoC2 thread because I was the last person to post. I thought I'd help Infernus out and see how far I could take this map... I've started some of the lighting and as I don't usually compile very often I thought I'd take some screenies to show y'all...

He got a bit bored and de-motivated with it so I've taken over for the time being... |

Looks awesome, I can't wait to get my hands on it. The lighting is excellent, textures crisp, gameplay looks fun too. |

Ok, This is an intervention!
There is a great site to discuss Counter-Strike Source right HERE
The WoC2 CS: Source conversion has a thread all on its own in the CS: S section so there is no longer any need to discuss this in the "RF* Pimp my map" thread.
* - RF meaning Red Faction, not Counter-Strike Source |

New update on SP Empyrion!
Progress could be a lot faster if I could just stop adding new levels and actually finish the previous ones to release a Part 1, with a Part 2 following closely behind. I decided to break the campaign into two parts because Part 1 is already about 15 megs and Part 2 is promising to be equally, if not bigger as far as file size goes.
All that said:
There are now about 7 full (relatively short, but full nonetheless) levels basically completed that only require an hour of testing and fixing to be fully completed. I only plan on adding maybe one or two more levels to finish up this campaign.
Here are a few peeks at the latest few levels:

^ This abandoned mine is actually unique in that there is always a different path to follow; one leading you to your objective while the others, sometimes, leading to death. Choosing correctly can significantly reduce the length and difficulty of the journey.
Dungeons, abandoned mines, caves, office building, spaceships, spaceports and a lava complex...
Keep an eye out soon for the storyline as I hope to post a teaser soon. |
