[EDIT - Please accept my appologies for any offence caused]
Jokes aside, so far apparently there have been 6 explosions at underground stations [Aldgate, Aldgate East, Edgware Road, King's Cross, Old Street and Russell Square], also 2 trains have collided at Kings cross, and 2 busses have allegedly been blown up, though this is still not confirmed. Early reports after the initial blast said the explosion was caused by a power surge, though since then, the other incidents have occured. The National Grid have reported that nothing on their systems could have caused such events. It is currently unknown wether these were explosive devices planted by terrorists, but with an increasing number of explosions, the likely hood netherless increases. My thoughts go out to anyone in London, and especially to anyone who was personally caught up in any of this.
Have to say, I am glad I took the train back to my flat late last night and not this morning like i was going to, have to go through kings cross and old street on my way across.
Here is SKY and the BBC's Coverage of the incidents : http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-1188265,00.html

Look's like were not even safe here
My sisiter was going to have a school trip to London tomorow, but as soon as my mum watched the new's, she phoned up the school and made sure that they cancelled the trip. And the receptionist said that she was 1 of many parent's who had phoned up to cancel it.
I love my sister very much... but why couldn't she of been in London today |

We have never been safe here! Nor any country, even america got some terrorists eventually, every country in Europe 'regularly' deals with domestic and international terrorism, it wasnt that long ago that we used to get this CENSORED with alarming regularity. For example, the post office tower, Palace of Westminster, Canary Wharf, various bridges, car bombs..

Dont see how you can laugh at this situation, just shows the level of ignorance amongst people here.
A lot of people have been seriously wounded by these 6 explosions. There may be many fatalities as well. |

Ok, I appologise if you are offended, And for your information I do just happen to live in london thankyou very much, as said in the message, I went through two of the stations last night. Two of my friends work in farringdon which, just happens to be in between kings cross, aldgate etc. Infact, Paul is the brother of MSM1000, who I'm sure a few of you know on this site. And yes I am very worried about them, and rightly so.
Also I was not laughing at the situation, or in the face of the casualties, merely trying to make light of it. You think that in the second world war people just sat around and moped? no..
Additionally, I wrote the thing before I found out that it was more serious than It had been thought initially.
I shall remove it. Please accept my sincere apology, as said, i did not intend to offend anyone.
lol, pauls only there on work experience for this week!! he's been commuting this week from colchester to london, hes just finishing his masters up there. When I used to come back down to my mums house from my house up there I used to go through liverpool st, round through aldgate to charing X, quite mad to think that most of the time you never bat an eyelid that anything like this could happen. And then one day, all hell breaks loose.
I wonder who's behind it? |

Do you think that on Sept 11 2001 people in New York City sat around and made light of the situation?
I know its not the same scale, but its still an attack. |

It has been confirmed that there were 4 overall explosions, 3 on the underground and 1 on a double decker bus. This is just sick, I was just there in march and it was such a wonderful place and the bastards have to go and bomb it, it just disgusts me. |

I was there about two weeks ago staying at King's Cross... went through that station many times... I was also in Edinburgh for a while. Between the anarchists in Edinburgh and the bombs in London, it appears I got out of the country right in the nick of time!
My condolences to anyone affected... I remember 9/11, it might not be the same but I know the feeling. |
