RJ, my position has always been that a single shot fired for every single click is not cheating.
Read that again.
1 click = 1 shot = not cheating.
Are you sure you cannot see any logical foundation in that? It has to be the most straight forward way of looking at this. No grey areas. No personal codes of honour or opinions about the way I think the game was made to be played. Just one shot per click.
One physical input for every separate PR or pistol shot. I can’t make it anymore basic than that.
Now even if you don’t agree with that surely you have to admit that it does have a solid logical foundation.
You say two fingers on one button is good and two fingers on two buttons in bad. I say I don’t give a toss what buttons you hit or what you hit them with as long as it comes down to... yep, you guessed it, one shot per click.
There are plenty of people who feel two fingers on one button is cheating too. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve heard players who use this technique being accused of cheating.
The sad fact is that if a player gets good at any part of this game, be it his rate of fire or his aim, there will be a dozen people ready to stand up and scream "cheat". Well, frankly, I’m sick of it.

But you know there is nothing clear about this argument. It’s all grey areas and personal opinions. The only thing we, as a community, can manage to agree on is that more than one shot per click is cheating.
After that you’ll find people who’ll call everything cheating, nothing cheating or different combinations of different things cheating.
You know all this RJ. You were shocked on page one of this when you thought you were being accused of cheating but by page 2 you’ve managed to plant yourself in the middle of the biggest grey area in RF and started shouting "cheat".
In your personal opinion it is unfair to use more than one button. Say that then but I don’t need your pronouncements of who you think is cheating. Especially when you express them as fact.
That’s the last I’ll say about it cuz this just goes around and around. |

the question is a bit different with UT2004 and instagib or lightning gun.
The lag between the moment you click and the moment your weapon shoot is part of the game. The only solution i found is to keep your target on the crosshair as long as possible.
Once you know that i'm not sure ping is much of a problem to aim (but i never succeeded in playing that game as a 56ker thou  )
I'm not sure but i think the problem is in that (volontary) lag. |

I'm afriad that I don't understand this. Am I being accused of cheating?
The only mods I've ever used were ones that changed player skins (the nude Eos one and the Half-Life2 one RED FROG uploaded a month ago). Neither are cheating mods. I got bored with the naked Eos one quick and the HL2 one caused my comp to crash.
I don't use the keyboard to change weapons, I use the mouse.
I usually use the Masako skin which is a tad smaller than the male avatars but I don't know if the targeting part of the game sees the player as smaller.
I'm actually pretty shocked if you actually are accusing me of cheating. |

It's not really a big deal, you see more detail in the actual files contained in the .vpp than in the game.
Also think about this:
