Work has begun on my map. After much deliberation, I've decided to go ahead with my Phantom of the Opera map...
The big question is whether I will be able to get it done in time....I've got this really cool techno remix of one of the songs...should be cool. |

Ive just read this whole thread , and I see ITCH is taken his map out!, Ive seen the screen shots and It looks sweet, Why did you all allow this to happen,I mean he stated a fact then got called a Liar, thats not real fair, and now the pack will suffer, and NastyMan has taken his out to, Dont you releize how talented these Guys are. As I read it , Blaze you are wrong and you never even had the balls to say sorry to ITCH , and I cant find Itch\'s Kiss map on here now , That map was cool,And I wanted to review it, what is happening to this site ,why do you drive great mappers away?  Red Faction is slowing dieing and I personaly think its ppl like Blaze and his friend Shadow that are making things worse ,at the end off the day its a game!  |

I personally spent a lot of time trying to pursuade *Itch* to reconsider his decision... Not spoken to Nasty but I imagine he'll be staying with his Australian counterpart...
I really wish they'd both reconsider, both new to mapping but both talented in the editor and have some great ideas!

This is your second post man, you say this as if you have witnessed many a fall from this site  I still don't think the site is to blame, Blaze and Shadow hold the responsibility there  So don't boycott the site chaps and submit your maps to the RED FACTION UNITE map-pack, we'd love to have them included  |

You could also say that ITCH should grow some and ignore Blaze and Shadow. If RFU meant anything to him he wouldnt care about a petty argument with hosers.
Red Justice and I had a small run in earlier on in the thread after a misunderstanding... but now we're past that. I suggest you ITCH do the same. |

Good idea. Any more posts regarding the ITCH and ENM issue will be deleted. I've spoken to ITCH over MSN and tried my hardest to convince him to come back, but he won't. I respect his decision. End of story.
Any further posts on this subject will be deleted on sight.

Well, then its technically not a skybox... 
I suppose its possible, but I think you'd be better off making the walls out of brushes and such...maybe like in DM-Geometry, where the blocks floating in the sky aren't actually in the level, but they are brushes just outside of the main airbrush. |

Make a small room that resembles a pub, give it a fake door and window etc and then sling a Room Effect in it
Think the blocks in Gemetry are actually in the skybox too |

Ok. I will remove the 2 Mappers from the list (reluctantly).
Info on my map:
If I have 3 or so Versions of my map for people to test during the testing Phase is that ok? Im stuck between various Ideas.  |

I've been trying to make the music in your level work for me. and the only thing that seemed to work is adding the RFU4-AIA_sobe.wav file to the level vvp.

Im in a little problem. Im preying that my work will be submitted, but I am at a pinch. Im leaving for the summer on friday, and I will be out of the house after school monday through thursday. On friday, im going to be traveling for a few months. I dont have much time at all now, with finals in the way, and my trip.
Im going to try my hardest to pinch in a submission, and prey that it is playable, but it is looking sorta grim on getting finished.
I am going to work my hardest, but understand that if my submission does not get turned in that I am sorry, and will attend the next RFU when I get back.
Sorry for the news. Keep up the mapping everyone! I have seen many sceenshots, and they all look very good. Ill have to take a DL when I get home!
Ciao everyone, this might be my last post aswell. Have a good summer if I dont hear from you again.
