Are we uploading to the normal RF spot, but just selecting the Red Faction Unite Projects category? I looked in the FTP and could not see anything RFU related.  |

No all the stuff needs to be uploaded, to a ftp/server MrWizard set up somewere. the ftp adres is somewere in this topic, but you need to IMS MrWizard for the login-info of the ftp.

check MrWizards post, keep in mind that the username and password have changed, and that you have to IMS MrWizard for the info. |

Sorry everyone, I've been away for a few days. My dad bought a Corvette and we had to go pick that up, and I'm in the process of buying a new motorcycle, and my grandfather's grass needed to be cut and his new brick patio laid down, and all sorts of manual labor and I think I was involved with all of it. What strange fool goes on vacation on Memorial Day, when there's work the be done?!?! Certainly not my family..lol
Anyway...everything is looking good. I'll clean up the FTP today. Renaming folders and such.
To re-iterate. When you upload your map, create a NEW folder titled with your name and the current date.
ie. MrWizard-05-31-05
If you happen to upload more than once during a single day, just add a letter behind it, starting with A, then B, etc. If you wish to delete your old maps, feel free, however, BE CAREFUL that you don't accidentally delete someone else's. In order to make the upload folder work the way I wanted, I had to give everyone full permissions. So BE CAREFUL!
Deadline is the 12th of June. Thats still almost 2 weeks away.
Dankone, don't bother making anymore changes to that VBM until we see maps from some people. If we already have a map from them, change it at your leisure. Just keep the filename the same. That way, it won't matter what version they got, it should just work.
Anyway, I'm off to get ready for work. I'll be touching base most of the day. Hoping to get started on my map here soon. My primary idea was too in-depth and I don't have enough time to finish and my secondary idea was sorta taken by IAC. Your music is different, but your map looks almost identical. Funny how that happens. Anyway, back to the drawing board....

I would like to formerly appologize for my untimely absense. As much as I wish I could map for RFU4, it seems to be an impossibility. I recently encountered a loss; one of my best friends to be in fact. This whole ordeal has been unbelievably time consuming it is literally making me sick. This on top of all my other responsibilities... it's just too much at this time. Once again, good luck to all of you mappers. I can't wait to download and play you on RF! |

ok, so lacross51 is officially out? could someone please make a list for me of those not mapping already, so i can remove them from the VBM. post here if possible. gotta try and get all the vbm tgas in order by people who are finished to those who MIGHT not, that way i can just pull their names off the end, and have less renaming to do. HERE is a link to download the latest copy of RFU4.vbm. there will be changes made to it, but the file name will remain the same, so youll just have to place the final in your textures folder instead of placing it in the map. 
i have uploaded my final version of my RFU4 map.(the only change i see to be made is the above mentioned VBM.) please tell me if you find any issues with the map before the deadline. |

same here man. had some similar things happen to me in my life. But i don't wanna make this topic a sad one but in no way will i just forget about your loss. I will pray for them Lacrosse.
I'm just making some fnal tweaks and changes to map...no longer will it crash and no longer do u fall off the map...i do need one thing though.i need to know the ppl who are mapping for this.if someone could post a list here that'd be helpful |
