As with a mod you made. You aimed to create RF for UT... but features and ideas come alog the way through your journey to your ultimate goal. Looking through the code with no particular idea what you are looking for is boring. laborious and fundamentaly flawed. If you want to improve Red faction, tell us what needs improving... on the whole what would make red faciton better and how are you going to go about achieving that goal. Yeah well, as project is named as "study development and improvement" they tell pretty much. Studying - Creation of knowledge base howto create some real new content into game(inside tables). Development - Developing various utils for RF. Improvement - Making an easier to start modification plantform. (ie. Gathering tools into one packet) There is quite much, and I will provide more detailed list of things at some point. Ofcourse I won't be able to do everything alone, so I will need help at some point. The other things described can be found in the tools section of L4Y. I think your barking mad.. but good luck.. if you ever actually finish what you are intending to achieve. Then I will be very interested to see it. FuryThor   Posted 27th Jun 2006 12:11am L4Y Member Post 455 / 831 Here is brief description of my RF SDI project which I made recently Project main idea is: Study : howto modify or add any content into game Development : Creation of unified content creation, mapping and server running tools. Plus active war against mod cheaters. Improvement : Improving original game engine to better compete newer engines. For all contributed content will be given proper credit. Please note that I will post later the standards for any documents and files contributed for this project, but as guide I can say that those files must be working with designated tools. PS.
