Of course I was joking about a RF on the source engine, but we can have the idea up for grabs in about another year or so when HL2 becomes like RF... Old and needing to be modded lol |

Wow what a load, don't say stupid stuff. Source is more powerfull than the unreal engine is.
Do you have proof of them saying that they are thinking of moving to the unreal3 engine??
Source is a very powerfull engine and capable of many things, it leaves other editors looking like rocks.. |

but source seems so much more detailed ... i highly doubt it. It would completely change the way the game is played. |

The Source Engine is much, much more powerful than any Unreal engine to date. Perhaps Unreal Engine 3 will be better, but for now Source is in the lead. It's much more flexable, much more detailed and has phsics that are simply amazing. If you think any current Unreal engines are better than the Source engine I have to ask you, just how many Source games have you played? |

Now that the Source engine's been out more developers are turning to it. For example, a game series called SiN Episodes is making it's way to the Source engine and one of the new games is scheduled to release very soon. Also Dystopia (currently a Half-Life 2 modification) is going to use the Source engine once they get to full-blown-game status. |
