i would love to help u with this rf 3 mod im ok at mapping and i just got 3ds max demo and im not reay good so far lol but il get better and learn |

I got a few ideas for rf 3, first off no single player, single player is just a waste of time for everyone, on some games its good coz i got 56k and cant run em online, but this is a mod and erryone can run it, so i recomend no single player.
Levels:
There should be a new mode of gaming if people can work it called Assault: Its actually not hard I would like to think im the 1st to come out with this idea, U spawn in your base with the enemy flag there, ready for u to take it, the enemy starts with it too. <OBJECTIVE>Take the enemy flag to enemies base, so its like offensive rather than defensive like ctf.
There should also be spectator mode, and if possible like Call of duty, the ability to see what others see to go in their eyes if u get me.
There should be the option of replay, when u get killed u see a replay.
I know these are big ideas and i cant even describe how to do them lol nevermind make them if anyone thinks they can this would really change rf.
Im quite good at mapping so i could help if necisary. Heres some screenshots of my latest map which was rather rushed because my mates wanted it, here:

Weopons:
I think Duel weoponing should be made available, so 2 weopons can be carried such as pistol, and maybe others.
<-Explosives->
Smoke Grenade,
flash bang,
Frag Grenade,
C4 like old times,
Proxy mine (detects people passing it),
Rocket launcher,
Fusion with guided mode so u can guide it (with 2nd fire u go into the bullet and move it with controls)
<-Semi auto weopons->(clicky ones)
Precision rifle,
Pistol,
Duel Pistol.
Desert Eagle,
Magnum.
<-Automatics->
Heavy machine gun,
Assault rifle of course,
Uzi,
Ak 4000, futuristic ak,
We need variety these are just ideas.
<-Booom SHotty guns things->
Shotgun,
Duel Shotguns,
<-rest of weopons->
Rail gun,
Flak kinda gun,bounces off things,
Electric gun,
Hits multiple enemies.

Skins, Some should be Robotic/Human, Some soldiers of future, with soldiers of today kinda looks instead of normal rf.
The kind of world we live in in rf well fight in is like normal rf really but a bit more UNSPACEY so more grass more CENSORED like that,

Every clan should have their choice of base out of levels, Like an unoficial ladder kinda thing where in the Rf maps theres kinda diferent types of maps with different bases, and clans can unoficially "OWN" the bases if u get me so they use them in war, sumhow, i dont know how. I think little vehicles such as a 2 man cart or sumthing and boats should be added.
JUST SOME OF MY IDEAS... Hope u can build upon these |

CounterStrike, HL2: Deathmatch, Call of Duty, BattleField 2, etc. all have the ability to do such a thing, and so does RF. Using the Spectator mod. However, I have never been able to get it to work <_<. It's not exactly following each player, much less seeing what the players see, but it would be an option for spectator mode.
And about your vehicle ideas. Noonce has successfully added vehicles into RF MP except for Siltzerfest. And I forgot which mod it was. I think it may be available on this site.
And your ideas are cool, but RF can only handle so much. These are ideas that would work better with HL2 and the Source engine(almost anything is do-able with the Source engine!). |

anyway, E>man those maps look good, whats the chances of sending me them? anyway, i was thinking of doing a remake of a couple of call of duty levels for RF... maby the RF3 mod could be "Realistic"? that would permit alot of experamenting..
would it be possible for one of the programers here to crack RED, to allow more faces/verticies/cluttars? |

yeh cracking red would make it so much easier for us map makers, i couldnt actually add more detail to my map coz of the stupid CENSORED limitations, I got people on msn who could email u the map mate. |

If someone improved/improvised RED to enable more small brushes in a single area without crashing RED, that would REALLY allow me to finish some of my more detailed work instead of finding a non-realistic way around the limitations. |

There's some good ideas floating around in this thread, but not many of them are gonna be possible given RF's very limited game engine.

i can glance at that list and shoot off 5 weapons that wont work in RF at all. unless you make it for ut2004... 
let me make it simple and tell you the ones that wont work.
flash bangs, guided fusion, proxy mines, flak gun, and the electric gun.
Dual weapons are possible, i have made dual pistols for weird 3 but they are incomplete and their shooting animation suck. left click shoots the left gun and right one shoots right pistol. not very effective overall and having a 'consecutive dual burst' would work better if animated properly... |
