Lace, from reading yours posts it looks to me like you shouldn't be posting in this section.
Funnily i do have a life, just because i know a lot about computers doesn't mean i have no life
I play football (Soccer) 5x a week and other sports such as golf regularly so your post ExoStatic is pure CENSORED .
And as for my last post quoting Nitro, there was nothing wrong with that, the aim of the thread was to help this guy and i am stating that what Nitro said was incorrect and stoping him from buying a PSU that wouldn't work, i also gave a link to a good PSU Buyers Guide.
And Calm down? I think it is you that needs to calm down, jealous because you're no longer the
PC Guru' you thought you were? Yeah, thought so.

No, you do. You come here with you're big post count of 25 and mouth off at some of the more senior members of this community. Not an aspect of the personality we like here at L4Y.
Anyway, knowing a lot of computers doesn't necessarily mean you have no life. If it's your interest, then so be it, it's fine.. and as long as you do other things with your life rather than sit in front of the computer all day. I wasn't aiming my comment directly at you - Christ. |

Did I say I know a lot about computers? I only stated that some people her have been building computers for years without feeling the need to come and shout: "Hey everyone, look at me! I know all that is to know about computers, and everyone else know nothing compared to me!"
And for everything you say is the only right way to do things, I can find someone who says you are wrong. |

You are just ganging up on me, i am not a mouth off i just swore if you are a 12 year old kid who can't handle the word BullS**T which isn't actually a swear word then you need to grow up.

It would seem to me that xtremeclan knows a lot about computers for his age, thats still more then most of the world. But that's no reason to be rude either.
If you had been at this site more than a week, you would know that I'm not talking about a cheep POS PSU. I assume everyone knows that. Also, OCZ is not what I consider a quality PSU. It scored a 7 on Maximum PC's power supply showdown this January. And that was only cuz it looks pretty. They dinged it for unstable voltage and no active power factor correction.
For a real power supply, I would recommed the Antec NeoPower 480, at the same price it's 10x the power supply. You shoulda done more research. The other companies I would consider are PC Power and Cooling and Enermax.
ALso, don't go on ranting about DFI, they are not some brand new company you know. They have been doing their best to change their image in the past few years. It was not that long ago that they were the cheapest mobo's on the market. Now they make quality stuff and market directly to the overclockers and tweakers. You calling me an idiot for saying the Fatility is top of the line is ridiculous. You don't have to act that way just because you preffer the pretty yellow slots on the DFI board. Either way, I would consider any SLI board top of the line, since it's not mainstream technology yet.
If you want to go on and on about how much you think you know about computers, I think you will only embarrass yourself. Try being more helpful than critical.  |

Anyway. My choice of cooling and power supply is ThermalTake. I have always trusted and will remain to trust ThermalTake with my cooling and PSU needs. Oh and my mobo is an ASUS

Well, he is 14 years old and should realise some of the users here had their first computer long before he was born.
If I had realised earlier what age he has, I would just have let it be. |

LMAO Stop getting so worked up about it, i was about to post then i had to play a clanwar and closed the window by mistake, as i can't be bothered to write it all out again i'll sum it up.
Whoever wrote the review and stated that the Antec NeoPower was better then the OCZ needs lots of help, go to any respected computer forums and you'll find that the best brands are OCZ (PowerStream Series) Enermax and PC&P Cooling.
I asked for the best PSU and was told the OCZ Powerstream Series or PC&P cooling, due to availablity and my trust in OCZ i went for it, i am now running my 3200 Winchester at 3000Mhz on a tornado+Slk-948U heatsink 2x Sata harddrives (raid 0) and an X850XT, no problems at all.
And i didn't chose the DFI board for it's pretty Yellow slots, i chose it because they make the best S939 Boards.
I also never once stated that i know the most about computers, and i am not being critical, if you read the thread i was the only one helping this guy untill you all went off-topic and i was the only one he responded to which says something doesn't it?

i swear you have a mouth on you, im curious as to what u act like when u get owned in a video game, i no this is still off topic, but...xtreme he sayd he wante da good comp for gameing he didnt say he wanted to spend a couple thousand on a computer.
and yes u did say u probbaly knew more then any of us, you may but i get the feeling ur getting some help from some one that is senior to your age, just cool your mouth and think before you type, i know its hard for a kid just finally going through puberty but just try |
