ATI RADEON 9600 Series
I know it isnt the greatest GFX card out there. however I got it 2 years ago now, just before Christmas.
I don't have any problems with it. only game is FarCry and that is when its played on HIGH graphics and a biggish resolution. |
Trying to find old players. Anyone about? Drop me a PM or reply to this thread:

Yes i was thinking the same thing,
i got a 6600GT it's pretty good for UT2004 but it could be better.
But sins i herd about UT2007 i wont be upgrading till at least 3-6 months after it comes out so i get decent frame rate for my money.Im thinking of maybe geting twin GPU video card and maybe 2 of those cards, so like having 4 GPU's.
I might get an Optron dual core CPU(maybe 2 of them CPU's) to drive these cards. If Optron prove to be the better gaming chip. Like i said ill do this when UT2007 comes out and this is more common and cheeper |

I think my card is a 9800pro, but I chose 128mb 256-bit, not sure if that was a smart decision or not, but hey ...
I can easily play FarCry, Doom 3, or w/e
I need to get my hands on Doom 3 expansion and Half-Life 2
what would give better graphics, AGP or PCI express? and when will new cards come out?
and oh, I just bought this h/d http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16822148025 looks like a good deal |

NVIDIA's new series of 7800 cards is scheduled to be released in june. If you want a new mobo to, then go for PCI-Express. As Nitro said, this is the way videocards are heading anyway |

I used to like ATi
But the buggy chipsets that aren't VIA compatable just sux.... So I am switching out my ATi Radeon 9600XT for a BFG or Leadtek Nvidia GeForce 6600GT
May be posted for sale on Ebay or somewhere.... |

Don't think so man, unless your monitor has a scart socket. |

Monitors do not come with SCART sockets unless you specifically bought one that can take direct TV input as well as a VGA/DVI input. As you're asking the question I'd say you dont have one.
Also, why bother asking where you would find it? Just take the PS2 lead you usually connect to the TV and see if it fits anywhere...
If you find a right shaped hole... there it is
To answer your question though... yes you can connect a PS2, XBox or anything else you fancy to your PC monitor.
As long as you have the right cable and TV card in your PC then your PC becomes the TV. |
