That's the nice thing about Red Faction, you can do all those things and still keep the game compatible with other players.

man that annoys me soo much wen ppl complain about the hmg or take it out of servers or change it in servers hmg is part of the game, live with it u guys said u wanted to keep rf how it is wen we were talkin about changin the start weapon with another wep and now u guys wanna change the game wen it comes to hmg? if u change or get rid of hmg then u have to replace the start weapon!

Let's just play the game as it was intended to be played. The HMG aint all that good anyways, I'd prefer the assault rifle or a PR any day of the week.

just make a mod where you can't pick up the hmg. you can grab its ammo, but not the hmg.

Well thank you. Glad someone is making use of it.

On the topic of HMG, lets just play it the way it was designed. If we go messin with the properties of various objects and stuff, we're talking too much trouble for what its worth. Its a FRAG day. Your SUPPOSED to get killed. Whether its with the HMG or the baton shouldn't matter. Enjoy the levels as they were designed.

i agree fully. the game is the game. i personally dont do any better with the hmg than with the machine pistol, so i dont see its advantage. plus..if you start disabeling things. your just gonna end up being the DZ server
have you determined a deffinate map list yet? and is it gonna be available as a mappak here, or do we need to make sure we get em all on our own? ive seen the list, but theres constant talk of additions and changes. i just hope i can play with yall. dont really care what maps they are

i guess that all depends on the amount of players the server is going to allow. i think 12 isnt too many for halloween.
plus....anything over that just invites lag anyways. remember, we are ALL OVER the world, and have different connections. high ping rates are inevitable, but not as bad with fewer player pings to worry about.

each server should put the limit to 32 that way most ppl will be able to join if its only at 12 and there r 2 servers the max ppl that can play would be like 24 and im shurwe theres more then 24 that would wanna play if this is gonna be a community event shouldnt we include the whole community not just 24 ppl? if were playin rf how it ws ment to be played then we should include the lag cuz thats part of the game too

Halloween small? What you on about man?

Anyways, I agree with A1 and think 12 maybe 16 players max will be sufficient. I wouldn't be able to move if there were 32 players. I think there are enough dedicated servers for this to have slightly smaller groups.

So, in a nutshell, IMO, 12 players per server, 30 kills/ 15/20mins, All default settings

What is the name of server BTW? also i OWN on KOZ cubes! me and Kiliad and Eos, its a thing we have lol and Tide runners.

i just took a look at the dm maps with the most downloads, and their are a lot of good maps in the top 20. maybe a rotation that includes some of the more popular maps like these would be nice. i mean....they do have the most downloads for a reason right???
then again, there are a few there that are just played to death.(still fun though)
