lol Goober, you should have had Lego in your childhood, so you'd know what Lego is, and what it's made of.
It's clearly not made of steel, and it clearly does not consits of Quake3 weapons.
What I am importing into Red Faction doesn't matter. It is silly that it was even mentioned, these are two totally different things. (TC with fixed theme | random add-ons)
Even if I created a cow launcher for RF, I would not promise that it goes with the Red Faction theme.
But if I work on a Lego mod, and name it after, it should consist of Lego content, and not just the abuse of a great name.
You know I don't really care about it, but it's a matter of principle And at least you could be using some modern content, not those 300 polygon models (Pistol, RL)
You know, I'll show you what a Lego weapon could look like:
I have made mistakes in Lego SP. I should have put more effort into designing more true Lego models. Now that I know that, I only want to show you that you are going the same, and even worse ways. ( at least add funky colors to the RL !! Leave ur weasel words aside. It already sounds like nick or philip )

Lego weapons are nice and all, but compared to the players, the weapons are huge. The weapon in your picture is one player high, and 2-3 players long. |

I think a thread should be started where we can all argue and not worry about it being closed because sometimes these arguments made interesting reads but get closed to soon it's like watching a good murder/mystery but not knowing who dunnit. |

just scale it down.
Who says how big a Quake3 rocket launcher has to be? It would sureley be 20-50 lego players long
There is no detail possible in real scale.
It is, if you work for Lego. Lego designs weapons and other gimmicks specially and don't build them of parts. (there are pistols and phones and anything u can think of)
But if you do this in a mod, it will not be believeable that this is part of Lego because you have created it yourself. |

True, but you need at least some detail ... if you kept things to scale it wouldn't be detailed at all  ...

Sometime in the future we may look at making LEGO weapons, but for now, they stay the way they are. That's the beauty of doing the launcher the way we are. We can upload an update to a webserver, and everyone will download it when they play  No one will ever be on "patch 1.0.3.4.3" when you are on "patch 1.0.3.4.2"
