The server does give a link to the download  . Every time you click.
Thanks for testing all those Sobe. I guess mcafee's free product has a lot of false positives, I just read that some versions of mcafee detect Word and Excel as viruses. |

well my one just said that i didnt have it and to download it aye....got it now....
Also the dude in the server i went to (Some L-S guy) told me that he is trying to make a bypass for pure
sobe i just did a scan on AVG and nothing came up |

More than likely it is because you are really infected with the virus, you need to do I full scan of your system and clean everything including the restore file if you have one.
I don't think it is the pure faction file itself being falsly seen as a virus. I think the file got infected from your system because you already had the virus. |
nope ur kinda wrong becus its on any of my household computer that have mcafee one computer diesnt even have rf and i putted pf.exe on it and it went omg virus |
Well then you need to uninstall mcafee and download AVG, mcafee isnt any good in the first place. There is nothing wrong with the Pure Faction files as I have just got home and downloaded and did a complete scan of the files and they came back clean. |

McAfee is assured better than AVG unless he's using a free one. Though, I ran tests with the latest antivirus software with no issues. So it can't be due to PF being a virus. I checked and checked ONLY the files related to PF and NO virus/trojan/etc found.
Btw, people that think free is better should probably check this out. Not the latest, but..

Plus, it's confirmed that AVG and McAfee both are fine with PF. Compsman, you are suffering from something outside of PureFaction. Do a thorough scan of your computer using a good antivirus, try Nod32 free trial. |

Headjumping isn't a cheat or glitch - It's a neat little trick due to collision spheres.
Ladder glitch will be fixed later i believe, but is not right now (i think)

Problem with most antivirus's now days is they are bloated with all kinds of crap, like McAfee and Norton and they consume so much resources it isn't even funny.
AVG is ONLY a antivirus program, it will ONLY detect virus's and it consumes little resouces.
If all you want is a antivirus program AVG works great and it is free.
BTW I have seen other test that show AVG ahead of McAfee and most others although I know AVG isnt the best it does a great job for free. |

Add PF.exe to DXWin. Leave DXWin OPENED.
Start PFLauncher the normal way and launch the game with the launcher...while DXWin is still opened. DXWin will then force windowed mode even if u didn't start the game from it. |

Ive played in PF for several hours . I am not sure whats supposed to be changed.but it did run exactly the same for me. I did notice that you cannot glitch and tons of people come in and leave. I figured they arent running PF. BUT half of them come in shoot a few trimes then leave. Guess there mod didnt work?
I guess PF works well . One thing i didn't see was a cheater. Of coarse i didn't see any in 1.3 either. I can see this changing Rf if its server side,but brats love there mods too much to mess thing up for themselves. PF is nice to see and i wish it the best of luck. If not ,i will continues killing flying targets. |

Not really an issue... In a match, You'd be dead before you could do anything useful with it

Was in one tonight with a full house that says he's not switching? Doesn't matter to me, since with the PF Client, I can still play in his server.  I did notice that the 1.0 servers show up as incompatable now. |
