New version should work for both French and German versions of RF, and fixes issues with the previous betas. NOTE: Servers running the old PF will still have the old issues. My server " Pure BETA 3" is running latest if you want to test.
Should the amp damage vary depending on the number of players? Vote here:

BETA 2 is released.
This fixes the server authentication errors many of you were having. Please ignore any other download links than the ones on PureFaction.org.
New download links added - tell me which work best.

BETA 1 is released. Allows anyone with the nvidia graphics issue to play again. Has the starts of the anticheat in place. A lot more to do, and there may be some initial issues, but it should make RF nicer to play.

I'm having some issues with this release. I'm getting the your data does not match the server's message. The only mods I have are Goober's Maps.txt file replacements, to add more textures to RED. The server I've been attempting to join is PureFaction.org, so I'm pretty sure the data should match. Any ideas?

Problem solved, Goober's extra textures pack messes with Pure. It would be great if the Maps.txt files could be overlooked when searching for accurate files, there's no way I can think of to cheat with them... |

Thats because it edits files. I'll make you a RED.exe which reads from a different file tonight (so it doesn't interfere)
Very excited about Pure being released... Will talk and play more when i get home from school this afternoon.
Lightstrike - Xfire picks up RF as rf.exe. delete your rf.exe (or rename) and rename PF.exe to rf.exe and it'll work

Server up: [TwT] Pure Faction CTF
I'll leave it up while I'm in school. I don't think anyone knows the rcon, but it's running Pure, so the only thing a rcon holder would need to do would be change map mabye...

You need the Pure patch to play in a Pure patched server , I may be wrong , but Im sure Goober will be able to fix the problem , He is the Man Boy ! |

Hey ! Just got my Geforce 8800GT card , tried the Red Faction as usual , didnt work first time, then I got PF, and now it works like a charm !!! Thanks man ! Long Live Red Faction ! Sky Tiger (RO) - rail addict !
PS . How can i use LazyBan now with PureFaction ???????? |

You can always extract those textures from RF,s default vpp,s.I remember opening each vpp and looking and sometimes extracting all those textures,hearing sounds from the game and some that didint even make it into the game like the flashlight activation sound and there was a texture for parker that has him in a yellow/goldish envirosuit looking buff and like a war veteran. |
