People need to learn to use PM's. Spamming in threads isn't the way to deal with personal issues.

crazyjack1994 the very reason that your anti-virus detected them as viruses is the very reason why the link to those files was removed from "his" signature. I was made aware of it by another member. Like Hapa Hanu said, they are probably not a virus but I was going to take any chances. It's funny one of my anti-virus detected them and the other one didn't.

You know...for some reason everytime it finishes scanning my computer, it displays the results and then crashes my computer. It must have picked up a big spyware program or something...

Invest... no, no, no... never invest to plagerize an old song : the best things in life are FREE" (ok so i changed one worrd)

anyway, like my colleger profeser has stated many times "when it come down to software FREE is allways the better option"

btw have i said FREE yet?

now i recomend you get the fallowing.....

AVG FREE http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 Actuly download all three from that link

McAfee free standolone STINGER http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

Spybot search and destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/

lavasoft's ad-aware FREE addition http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php

Regscrupxp http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048

those are all the mager FREE programs i use and i almost never get anything harmfull (rember that antivirus soft ware is only able tp protect you if its up to date and if it know about the newist viruses)

P.S. someone said that lavasoft scan crashes there pc... i had the same problem what i had to to was go into windows safe mod, then selected custom scan, the scaned each file directory sepretly (example. first i scaned the windows directory, after that finished then i scaned the programs directory and so on) it might take you all day but in the end it is worth it

P.S. again those are not all the programs i use (have 20 total) if any one thing i should post those link too feall free to say so

The best anti-virus is not being ignorant. Don't visit questionable sites and don't run everything your internet browser prompts you to. I don't use anti-virus software; I don't get virus' because I know better.

*Agrees* But it is in no way a foolproof plan... Anti virus software is still a great tool to have in case you need to remove anything that has accidentally be downloaded.... Lack of ignorance can't do that.

A great idea I have used in the past when others have been using my PC is that I set up multiple accounts in Windows and I give only mine administrator privileges. That way they can't install anything and anything they run into on the Net won't be able to install itself either.

I'm very protective of my PC. If I'm not the one using it the person who is knows enough to not cause any accidental harm. What's the worst that'll happen anyways, get a virus? Reformat; problem solved.
