Xolair, didn't Gray Fox finish your Hitman model?
He told me he did. It was really nice! To bad u ACCIDENTLY deleted it. I dont EITHER understand the alpha thing. Xolair can you help me?

Well yeah, he did finish it. Sadly I lost it among all my other mod-files, I didn't ''delete'' them on purpose btw .

About the alphas... well it's kinda tricky to explain, and understand.
If I'd make some tutorial of it etc. it could help?

If you made a tutorial that would be great! I'd do them for sure and also I don't have much college work on at the moment so I could get them done quickly.

Alright. Here it is:

Tutorial for making HUD's...

1. Open up your .dds-file you're going to edit.

2. Edit the required stuff etc.

3. Then, open up the Window-tab in the program:

(sorry, my Photoshop's in Finnish, but you get the point I hope )

4. Equip the Channels-tab from the 7th box if you haven't yet

5. Then, open up the Channels-slide in Photoshop:

6. Then, open up the Alfa-channel in the slide, and activate it.

7. Basically, you must draw your weapons into the RGB-channel in the
same slide, but erase the original(s) first of course. Then, when your weapon's done, activate the outlines of it and draw it with white into the Alfa-channel again (not too hard, I hope). The gun MUST be bigger
than the RGB-one, otherwise it won't become ''transparent''. So,
here's what it should look like:

The RGB-one

The Alfa-one

Okay, that's about it. Please ask anything if it's too... messy.
The tutorial I mean.

That's real useful, I'm just experimenting at the moment and trying to figure it out. I don't mind making the hud for you but if you want it done sooner maybe you should ask someone else, I'll work on it until you tell me otherwise though

Yeah, thanks. Compliments are allways welcome...

Anyway, the mod's starting to look nice once again, I'm getting a new
Hitman-model from one guy soon. And another dude is doing some weapons
for me (I guess), so there's nothing else left undone except the HUD
and of course some tweaks. Expect the mod to come out... within a month.
Let's say... 2-3 weeks (if I get my hands on the model(s) quick enough).

Thanks again.

Here's something of the mod's current progress to back up my words:

Havent been really keeping up with this mod but that Agent 47 model looks fantastic...almost identical to the real game

So far this mod looks promising

BTW wat kind of features will this mod have besides a great skin?

Any new weapons?

Yeah, there'll be a few new weapons, although my original plans for
them have been altered quite a bit, there most likely will not be any
Hardballers in this one .

But anyway, Jami3 made a re-skinning for 47's face and this is what it
looks like:

So, how you like the skin then?

lol i notice the elements of style hud Thats a real pity about the hardballers - hitman just wouldn't be the same . But its great that your still going along with the mod after the CENSORED up. Also is that shotgun from the Metal Gear Solid Beta?

The elements of style hud is because that screenshot was taken in my MaxPayne developer and before helping Xolair with the skin I was messing around with hud ideas for Dalte89 for EOS. Anyway for the skin my aim was to make 47 look less like a baby, so I gave him some subtle wrinkles around his eyes and forehead and a gaunt cheekbones to make him look more sinister. If anybody has any suggestions about the skin feel free to say because mods are about community and we want the mod to be how people want it.
