The full map pack has been uploaded by NCF and available for download here:

L4Y_vs_Volition_Game.rar

All I know is that the games will begin 34 hours from now - 8 PM Central Time here in the USA. Time conversion confuses me - so I won't go there.

Just so everyone knows - I will monitor game capacity in the three servers. I will also have another computer stationed here at l4y. If there is room I will share the password with other folks who have contacted me - the PM will arrive here in your account. We have room for 42 players. Over 50 have expressed an interest.

BTW - I will not wear a tag, I refuse to - I am my own individual. If folks want to wear their clan moniker or a l4y tag thats ok.
I have suffered in real life for the past couple years, now its your turn!

Maybe we should make a bet with Volition.

If we win, then they have to make RF3 WITH MP

If we lose, we will never bug them about anything regarding RF.

Maybe we can put the bet to; they give us a free rf3? and maybe the rights to the company, and maybe a billion dollars, and if we lose, we give them 1$?
BOOM! Head shot.

most of us are running 1.3, some may still be running 1.2 though.

The user-made patch?

Let's go with that then... I'll make sure everyone here is using that.

1.3 reads 1.0 and 1.2... so it doesnt matter which version the servers are using if you all have 1.3

are any of the people who acually made RF going to be playing?

Could I please ask that the servers are run on RF 1.2, not 1.3. My computer lags through 1.3 no matter who is hosting Even on my own LAN.

Everyone can use the LazyBan 1.3, but I just wish the servers to be run on 1.2.

Thanks,
sobe

I have had this problem with THIS pc for a long while now, I of course will be using LazyBan, but LazyBan 1.2.

Well, I don't know exactly who all will actually show up, but several RedFaction staff members have showed interest. Even the president of the company has expressed interest in joining.

I might be able to better offer names after the match is over.

Sobe, now that I know that 1.3 works with 1.2, I think I'll make sure everyone here is using 1.2

I would recommend 1.2

1.3 never went anywhere even after all these years, to try to start using it now and making Volition download more junk is just not necessary. 1.3 causes more problems then it solves and I think with a passworded server there really is no problem with cheater.

I will be running the server under the default factory patch which is 1.20, NOT 1.30 as it is not sanction by the company itself.
If you use LazyBan 130 to start the game, you can join any version of Red Faction. I'm with Nitro, I won't be using 130 and if any of the other servers are running it. I won't be joining it.
goober if I did join your server, you were running on the 1.20 patch and not the user made one. Why you claim that everybody here is using it is beyond me...
But if the V guys already have, they can join any server, doesn't matter what version is being run.
