Which RF character are you? A basic idea of each character's personality is provided for reference (anyone can update the listing if they feel I'm incorrect).
Parker -strong and very brave. Follows orders and doesn't complain (much). Only wants to end the corruption of Ultor.
Eos -strong leader, very brave
Hendrix -secretive, conniving. Indirectly alters events and wishes to remain in the background.
Gryphyn -sneaky, simply paper-pusher. Knows what's happening but doesn't have the power to stop it. Is willing to do anything to live another minute longer.
Orion -reliable, brave, good leader. Follows orders and will do anything for the RF.
Masako -ruthless, brutal. Will do anything to see her ends met. Elitist.
Capek -mentally twisted. Incapable of translating events to the consequences they'd have. Cannot translate the pain and suffering of others into his understanding. Will do anything to advance "science". Potentially classified as deeply psychotic with separation from reality.
Other -the other characters in the games:
standard miner -will follow orders. Rebel, wants to end the corruption at hand
mercenary -well trained warrior. Will do anything for money. Does not care about suffering of others, provided he/she is paid for their "services"
standard guard -follows orders, very loyal to their duty. Will not back down in face of uprising.
technician -very intelligent, pacifist. Only wants to stay working and live another day.
doctor/medic -wants to help others. Is "color blind" in that rebels and others are treated the same. Only wants to ease suffering.
office worker/secretary/admin -doesn't care about lower people. Simply cares about own self-existance. Dedicated to work.
So, which character are you? |

Hm.... guess I jumped the gun on voting, but Parker still seems to best describe me. Although in reality, none of those descriptions really fit me. |

Thank you. However, if you asked me, I'd still say they were weak descritpions. The game doesn't tell much of their story, however if I felt like it, I could throw some sociological typing into this (a 4 letter code telling their entire sociological profile. This would be useful, so I might try to get someone I know to help type the characters, but I doubt he'd do it (he doesn't care much for games and finds sociological typing to be too serious to devote to things like this (I know this because a while ago I asked him to type some characters in a novel so I'd understand it better)). Glad you liked it, too bad I couldn't expand on it more (especially Eos', as her description would fit for almost all the miners and squad leaders). |

Yes, I know that in almost all people, it would be a mixture. However, I listed the main characters and then "other". If you want, select "other", even though I wrote that "other" is for the minor characters. I didn't have room to create a "mixture", and I wouldn't have anyway. Basically, which is your prevalent character? The one you act like the most?
Case in point is Ranswer3, if he acted like Masako all the time, he'd be a "lifer" or on the Row by now.
By the way, I myself chose "other", as I act like a technician, however also like Parker. I'm smart, yet brave, however I do put up a nice attitude whenever given an order (I'll do it, eventually). Also, I'd consider Parker to be a sort of "boondock saint", as well as all those in the RF. Their rebellion is a great moral question, is it right or wrong? On one hand, they've been repressed and practically tourtured. On the other hand, they are employees for Ultor and are under contract. Also, there's the idea that they killed all those guards in the rebellion. Obviously, if they'd extend the RF story, they'd have to mention a major court battle, because what happened in the RF story involves some very questionable morals and legal issues.
Thank you D2K for enlightening me on this. If you hadn't mentioned "boondock saint", I'd have never thought of the consequences in RF. I'm going to rent that movie ("The Boondock Saints") as soon as I can find it (local stores only carry the "big" titles, stuff that won Emmys and that). |

Sounds like a wannabe Ultor. So the RF movement will start 100 years earlier than said in the game. That means that we, the people playing RF, might have the privaledge of re-enacting the events of RF (or our children might). Granted, nobody would ever want to, for all those events are horrendous and people'd end up dead. However, wouldn't it be ironic if it ever did happen like that? That'd be one giant "I told you so". |

So, Parker T Miner (the T means "The") is winning by a 4 point margin on the second place (Masako). I'm surprised no one identified with Eos, Gryphyn, or Capek. Still, no one would want to admit to being psychotic or self-interested. However, what's wrong with identifying with the great leader and go-to person? |
