Trigger, I opened up the map in RED, there are no groups in there except for the sky box and the Asian jump pad. Everything else is all brush word. Then again, I am not saying that he couldn't of taken a level from single player RF and converted it but I don't remember seeing anything like that in the game.

Any way, basically he is thinks your work is too good to be done by somebody that hasn't release too many maps.
Me I don't care either way, it's a new level and it looks great. He did however make a mistake in naming the file. He included the Tilde (~) at the end of the .rfl and .vpp files.

RFSA 4 doesn't seem to have a problem with it, so I guess it's OK.

Yeah I did have to add the Tilde(~) in its title or else it wouldnt let me submit it, and NO I did not rip off of someone else's work if thats what you're thinking... Mostly everything in there is handmade by me, except for a few groups just like NCF stated. Anyways, when is the next update?

That is might be true but at the same time, you didn't have to add it to the actual .rfl & .vpp file. You could have just renamed the .rar file. It's just that when you add it to those files. it makes it harder for a person running a non-dedicated server to change to that level manually. But like I said, no biggie.

I might add that in your level, you hardly have any armor and one jump pad is too strong, you bang your head when you get the HMG, I think that is the one that it is on. That's the only one that I found to be too strong. You also might want to set the re-spawn time on the weapons to something like 1 second. It's bad when you spawn without any weapons near. They also serve as ammo when the person/s running the server, don't set the server to weapons stay. But then again, that is just me giving you my opinion. You know a player and not a mapper.

Yeah, I guess I should've payed more attention to some things in the map because I was so focused on getting it done and submitted that I just rushed through some things But other than that I am working on another map right now and you will be seeing something like this in it



and yes, that is a hand.

Impressive, what kind of map will it be? A CTF map and the flags will be placed underneath the hand.

Its going to be an arena styled map actually and Im thinking that the hands are going to be above the arena or either holding up a platform.
Heres an example



Now all I have to do is build the rest of the map lol.

Frank, not that it matters, but you can group and then ungroup brushes in another map. Select the group then Ctrl+X removes the group, Ctrl+V puts the 'group' back - voila! No group.

Well the hand is actually made out of a cylinder that was made in face and vertex mode, and the fingers all seperate cylinders vertexed on the hand. And TOOL is one of my most favorite bands and Undertow is an awesome album , AND I just finished another map here are some pics







Im going to submit here in a minute, but I am a bit worried about the file size

You could also "borrow" the default hands mesh of the weapons quickly, and turn it into a mesh. I know, 3dsmax is needed to do this..
But I love the way you can turn meshes into brushes. It is much harder to create models like this in RED.

Too bad the lightning of RF kills the visuals of the hand
This really doesn't look like you've been using cylinders, thats amazing work you've done there with RED
