Online? Haven't heard about that.
You are talking about a diff game I think. I think thats the game that is full of bugs and that sucks.

This one is different, its called Matrix Path of Neo

yay its beeing made by Shiny Entertainment

Search for a downloadable movie of that game...everything is so cool.
You can climb up walls, fly through rooms and even destroy them. The animations are the best I've seen.

Remember the Lobby with all the pillars that now need some renovation, from the 1st movie

the novel thing about dodging bullets in close quarters combat like in the matrix, is that the act od dodging them would put far more strain on your body than getting shot, these things are moving thousands of feet per second moving your body out of the way would be like getting hit by a fast moving train

Anyway I think that you can slow down everything's speed in entity.tbl and projectile speeds in weapons.tbl so you actually have matrix mode where you move like time would be slowed. However there is one matrix mod in here l4y but it has some serious problems as shotgun shoots capek's bolts and something like 24 of them eats FPS a lot.

Another problem:
You can't slow down the players in multiplayer. Only for singleplayer.
that is another thing that could be done by editing the source code It must be written down somewhere..

Basically thats the primary problem.

It is here, and yes, it does tax even the best of systems. I can't find it here for some reason (it used to be in "modifications", did Garner delete it?). I love to use it when I get bored (it brings a new perspective on even the old single player, and even sp maps are more fun). However, even on low mode, my PC (its a 2.6 GHz P4 with (horrible, yet able) 64 MB NVidia GC) ran overly slow in high firing situations. The shotgun is the worst, as it uses the alien fish's little psychic attack as the bitmap (eats the fps really fast). The smg uses the worms' acid and capek's cane as the two bitmaps. The pistol is about the only weapon that doesn't ruin your fps. The railgun is set to normal, so its pretty easy on the system.

The Matrix Mod slows down enemy movement and speeds up miner movement. It also slows down gunfire and changes the bitmaps (explained above), and increases the clip size (railgun will hold ten bolts before a reload). The biggest problem, though is that because the gunfire is slowed down, the CPU must render it that much longer. If you are in a heavy fire situation, even the best PC will nearly crash. Then you have the problem of waiting for the fire to hit the enemy (its far easier to run over and hit them with the baton). If you don't do that, once the enemy is hit a few times, they'll burst into flames, further slowing the CPU.

For simple fun in a light zone, the Matrix Mod is great, but once you enter the barracks (in original SP) and the shotguns come out, your PC will about die. That gives you a good 2 minutes of fun. After the barracks, it gets a little better, but not much.

i did get the movie, i jus tthink they shold have deflected the bullets or made them go through them without damage becaus it would take less effort or brain power or whatever than moving out of the way

Marix is just cool with the slow motion thing .Many crappy movies or cartoons are copying that slow motion thing. If only RF had a slow motion mod that wont crash your pc.If only......

You know, RF in slow motion isnt all that cool... Well it isnt when the frist 2 years you owned it and it only ran at about 1/2 speed normally. because your POS video card couldn't sync the game at the correct speed, therefore you never had a fighting chance in MP because you were basically a sitting duck moving less than half speed than other players.

but if you like to play it at slow motion just get a "S3 Graphics pro savage 16mb" video card. heh...

then you will be able to play rf in slow motion, be amazed how your reflexes are 10x better than guards and you can empty an entire pistol clip before the first bullet shell falls off the screen! Then you will try your hardest to avoid water because when you splash in (in slow motion) you will take forever to "settle" in the water and begin movement again!

However i dont know about those that havnt experienced slo mo in RF but for me its totally ruined.

So slo mo sucks huh?Hmmmmmmm This may be of topic but i,m a noob at Worms 3-D and is there any way to target the enemy worms with the shotgun and uzi using first person.

Whenever I get back in my own state and in my own house on my own pc I will send it to anyone who wants to see it.... Or simply place it up for dl on my site... whatever works

Is the mod finished yet coz i,m ready for downloading.Can someone give me a link or a website that has a lot RF skins.REDFROG,s SHEK skin rules because i entered a server and appeared in front of a Red Team member that appeared to.He then just stood there stupidly following me and then i got the shotgun and splat. I guess that dude never saw a RF skin before ( I almost got banned coz some noobs thought i was modding I then told them that it was a skin)

Shek is a CLIENT side mod... the others players dont see SHEK, unless they also have the mod.

in other words the mod had the effect of being on green team more or less... the same thing happened with the answer and ranswer mod..

Nope, my mods won't mess up anything like that.
Only the one who uses my mod will see the change as Diesel said.
It is only working on the client side.

I have tested Ekoracters on LAN (have no internet), there was a huge problem which I would never have noticed without testing it in a real match. But thats all fixed. Mod is 99,99% error safe. Well I can't say it's 100% sure


That Matrix mod you were talking about sounds very interesting to me.
That can't be a normal table modified mod.
You cannot slow down animations, neither the whole game without re-creating them. This mod must have a modified exe file, I didn't know you can slow down the whole game. Or were you lying, or talking about another game?

If I'd be working on a Matrix mod, I'd re-create all animations/characters/weapons...in a slower speed. But that all don't work with these goddamn fast playermovements

Players with animated coats would be cool
