You guys are dumb.
Insulting how someone looks on a forum is pretty pathetic. Thinking that is really me, is more so though. 
I did have my real pic up for about 5 seconds, but it made Frank horney, so I took it down. |

Hi ppl of the Faction!
I strongly belive after playing Full & Demo, that DEMO is made better than full. It has less maps (ofcourse), but It Is made better. Many more ppl R still playing since earlyest days of RF, when there was no FULL version yet (like me), and still come 2 play DEMO & admit that it is made better. Geometry Modification 4 example.

Well I think I've replied here before but anyway the reason I think the full version beats the hell out of the demo version can be found here (or here for you CTF players).
There's a lot of crap in there but there are a huge amount of maps that kick the asses of the full versions maps, nevermind the demo version.  |

I really dont see how the demo can be better than the real version.
The full version has more maps and weapons. Why on earth would only having half the great stuff of RF be better than having it all?
Seems strange to me.... |

We are discussing something, that's what you do in forums. It's not really very dumb if we're still talking. We're carrying it on because there is something to talk about.
If half threads on this site, werent carried on like this one. There would be nothing to say and the threads would die out.

Seriously. As a custom DM player I can only say that I think you are missing out man. I started on defaults too but quickly got bored. I just can't see how somebody can play the same thing over and over and over. Maybe that's just me though.
If you've still got the full version then I suggest you download these maps. They are still played a lot. A hell of a lot. They are basically the custom version of the default maps. I got pretty bored of them too years ago but they are still played by everyone. I defy you to think that Lobby is a great map after playing a Microfaction.
To be honest I just don't get how players can be happy playing the same maps over and over. That don't just go for demo players but for the full version players that only play default maps and even for the custom players that only play the Microfaction series.
Hell, I've heard of the theory that players get so used to a particular level that they become great at it but surely that can't be a good enough reason to keep doing the same thing over and over and over, can it?

U R probably full of the "I am right" feeling. New maps R realy new maps - ONLY 2 B discoverd by others as just a ... naah I am not going in 2 this ... Just 2 say that stays what I said: CTF Blasted Canyon is better in demo than in RF FULL. On top of that, Better than any NEW MAP (I have 38), ... but U R missing the point...

I do not belive that there is stil some guys who did not C what so many did C!
CTF Blasted Canyon is not "overcrowded" by 2 much stuff around (heavy duty ARMOR,power uper, weapons...), Geometry Modification is much better (more natural), has more variations ...

Too much stuff? Blasted Canyon could hardly be called 'overcrowded' Even so, that is only one map. The full version has many, many more plus all the great cutstom levels. The full version provides much more variation. It might be just me but I like to play some different maps rather than just the same 3 over and over and over and over again. |
