He can't ban it as Skippy just said, also the *T3* HUD works fine on Lazyban 1.3 so is not considered a mod by the game

Heh, i was just on the frag 4 server and i came 2nd a few times in a row, i actually captured it!!  yay, it is weird playing with so many other players!
how comes your server is always so busy allan, and how come ur never in there |

About the rail mods.

I think that it is cheating and therefore it is against the servers rules to use such a mod. It is the job of the server administrator to decide what is and is not allowed in any server, and his word is law. If I say it is not allowed in my server, and you continue to use it, you are cheating whether you think it gives you an advantage or not. This is how it works, either take it off, don't play in my server, or admit you are breaking the rules, therefore being a cheater.
I agree with what is said about it not being feasible to enforce. However, please tell me how to tell if someone clicks fast legitly, or if he is using an application to boost his click speed which would indeed be cheating. In most instances it is not possible to tell a cheater from a normal player, simply because I am not a ban happy whiner who will throw an accusiation everytime I am beating, unlike some. The difficulty of enforcing a rule does not make the rule anyless valid. This is indeed a cheat, and how easy it is to accomplish does not change that fact. Just as it is easy for me to fly around your server, shooting multi fusions - it would not be any less of a cheat due to it's simplicity.
For those who care, my opinion of the scope is that it has "tunnle vision" as one of the disadvantages of using it. It negatively effects my close combat aim, my ability to nagivate round the map and my ability to see people where the blackness would have them hidden. Removing such tunnle vision would remove these negitive effects, causing the over powered scope to be even more unbalanced. Without the tunnle vision, why even unscope? No matter how small a cheat this is, not having to move my mouse as much due to the fact I can see more due to mods, is in my opinion a cheat. A cheat is a cheat, nothing more and nothing less. In fact, i'd rather play verses someone who flys around my server, using blatently obvious cheats, and the simple tweaker, because at least the former is not trying to pretend he is just a skilled player.
Finally, people get your own opinions. Think about it logically here, my arguments are 100x more valid than the spiel of those whom use this scope because they like the advantage it gives them while playing.
P.S. No patch is perfect, including version 1.3. It is possible to cheat in 1.3 in many ways, since it only checks certian files, namely the UI.VPP, however this does not quite go far enough to eradicate all cheats. I'm sure if SubZ even knew about such cheats, he would have addressed the issue, if it was even possible. However, since I did not even know about them, I doubt he did. He was even less into custom maps, and mods than I am.
About frag4 server

Being able to prove someone is using this scope is the hard part, however defining what it is, and saying it is not allowed it easy. Regardless of that, I can ban who I want, when I want for whatever reason I want, since it is indeed my server and my server alone. However, I do not work like that and that is probably one of the reasons the server is popular, as said above. I run the server as I thought what was needed and wanted for the RF community, it is as much a server for the RF players than it is a clan server. If the community wishes me to change the server, then it will change, it's how it is run. I deem the community on a whole wishes to have at least one big server where they can play their fav maps, this is what I gave them. Until proven otherwise, that is how the server will stay, and I am sure it will remain popular.
How come I never play there? I have no interest in playing RF at this moment in time, therefore I rarely play unless requested to do so and then I do so in the server requested, which is rare at the moment anyway. I have had this mentality for a very long time, and will probably resume playing only if I wish to prove a point to someone, or if required by my clan. I'd rather just play world of warcraft though. |

uhh... no...
ive played allan before and it wasnt pretty...
it was worse than playing grim. 
i still remember that match with grim a while back... i think it was like 6 to 30.. |

I've only been able to beat Grim in rail maps, unfortunately.
But anyways, I'd say that the rail that way would be cheating, because like Allan said, why bother unscoping if it's that nice all around?
It's not THAT big of a cheat, but a cheat nonetheless...

that actually makes sence... so the full screen scope thing is kinda a cheat..

As far as i know, frag4fun only runs default maps.
Could be part of the reason.
 Allan isn't helping mappers to increase their number of downloads.  |

Try making some good maps. 
Actually, just kidden, no one will play them and no one is willing 2 do the work for that type of server.
Funny though, currently I seem to have a free server which never gets used (frag4 dm)... Too lazy. |
