Everyone can post their score, their performance index so we can compare and see if your score is normal. Don't be shy. LOL
The higher the better
It starts off at 1 and ends at 7,9 (currently)
The funny thing is. It says that it's not the average result, it's the result of the worst part.
So if your RAM sucks for some reason, your overall score would most likely suck even if you got some beast hardware.
I can live with a 7,3..
No i7, no DDR3, no GTX295 (all that stuff is useless and just promising.)
looks like I know what I'm buying.
I'll see if I can get better results when I OC and don't touch the PC while the test is running.
I'm not that much of a benchmark nerd, but it's fun to actually almost hit the limit on something  My sisters PC must have something around 1,5 
Oh, btw, I can only recommend Windows7.
There's a few problems with it such as the HORRIBLE search function (I just downloaded a 3rd party software called "Effective File Search")
And I cannot record the wave output sound for some reason. (driver problem with x-fi) which is probably the biggest remaining problem I have now. (can't record sound in videos) |

Uhm... RIGHT click on "Computer"
Then go to Preferences or Properties whatever it is.

I really need to get a few new HDD's i get 5,5 on those but the other scores is exactly like RED-FROG. |

oooh right...
SSD for the win 
I was a little surprised that my SDD has been rated that low.
It's pretty much one of the fastest mass storage devices you can get for the money.
Well..then there's the SLC SSDs, but they're unaffordable.
Maybe 7,9 is reserved for SLC SSDs in Raid0...would be dumb though.
My SSD is called Intel X-25 Postville (new version) and has 80GB.
If you're sick and tired of slow, laggy and loud performing old HDDs...I can only highly recommend a SSD. (I never ever want to get back on a HDD.................)
Of course nobody wants to post scores now, because they're all lower D:
I bet everyone is getting a rating around 5 max 6 because of their HDD.  |

Well i will get me a 80GB SSD later next month and wait until the price will drop for another one. |

Hmm ... i guess that makes sense ... If your computer is bottlenecked in that area, it makes sense to estimate the power at that bottleneck ...
And who has beast hardware and crappy RAM? |

The only problem is that Nay thinks that just because the forum filter catches a lot of his profanity that it's OK to use it. IT"S NOT.

And its ok for another staff member to give it back when you have just quoted the rules that staff and members have to follow?
I hope Red Frog can read and digest the rules so that this profanity does not happen again. |
